  1. I agree, I am a big Adams fan. I told my bro that I think he would be the #2 next year. He said by the middle of this season. He is still a little raw but with his height and speed he is a mismatch problem. He goes up after the ball and actually uses his hands to catch the ball and hardly ever lets it get into his body. If he could add a few pounds of muscle and keep putting in work he has a ton of upside.

That's one of the main things I like about his play style. And if he adds more muscle 15 or 20 pounds and he'll be a beast.

  2. From what I've seen in the preseason and vs. the Chi-town Bears Kris Adams should receive more PT. He gives us size, speed and a lot of match up problems. We might have a diamond in the rough and all he needs is more PT to prove it.

  3. I guess the fact that Satele has 2 bad guards on both sides of him seems to be ignored. Satele is NOT the problem. Satele was very good in Oakland and in his time in Miami, he didn't just come here and get terrible. People see guys coming through the middle and think its Satele without seeing what the real problem is.

I was thinking the same thing myself. People are missing the point that when you have bad guard play you can't concentrate on the job at hand.

  4. Even if we say the Powers and Davis matchups wash out, that still leaves the Bears' 3rd and 4th WRs vs the Colts 3rd and 4th CBs. I give that matchup to the Bears unless you are able to get heavy pressure on Cutler. However, the Bears have a couple under-the-radar TEs in Kellen Davis and Evan Rodriguez (Spaeth and Adams are the backups, but all 4 could see time). They don't have an extensive resume, but I think they'll be ok. I think Rodriguez is the more versatile option in their passing game - usually lines up split out "F position" or in motion/shifts, while Davis is typically lined up next to the tackle - traditional "Y position". Given that the colts are converting from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and often times depend on LBs and converted DEs to cover the shorter routes, I see the colts being vulnerable in the short passing game and intermediate middle of the field. I think Bethea will spend a bit of his time shaded over Marshall and I just don't really trust Zibby in coverage against the likes of Jeffrey, Bennett, and Hester. Top it off with a fairly effective running game and I think the colts' D is in for a long afternoon.

    my two cents

    You're a positive minded Colts Fan.
