  1. Well, I dont assume to know what the conversation was between Eric and the front office. He never made a statement that I could find. but RI did say some words and they were far from displaying accountability. It would also be my guess that this front office must have heard at least some contrition from Eric for them to extend a contract. Again, I don't know.

RI comes across as having bad energy to me. That is my gut feeling, and I likely wont change my mind. For the record, I have little tolerance for anyone who strikes another for any other reason than to protect themselves. I genuinely hope that Mr Walden has gotten the message.

Loud and clear. If there is a large enough financial incentive, the woman you smacked around will retract her statement.

Even recommended to Ray Rice to do the same thing

  2. Tushay. LOL! Good point BC.

Part of me does wonder how NFL teams can get their toughness back without live hits & drills in practice though. This rule needs to be extremely watered down in the next NFL CBA.

I never wanna see guys get hurt or lose their jobs due to injuries, but if you aren't physical in practice, you're gonna get hurt in the game. An athlete's body needs to prepare for punishment once training camp starts if you don't you're gonna lose essential guys on your roster at the worst possible time when a HC needs them the most.

What's 300K to the richest owner in the NFL Paul Allen? Pocket change that's about it unfortunately.

Thats unlikely to happen, considering the NFLPA were the ones who wanted the rule in the first place

  3. Dan Marino scored a 15 Ryan Fitzpatrick a 48. Pretty meaningless if you can't play

You cant compare the old guys like Marino to those coming out today. Today they prepare them in advance so much more than they used to. By the time you take the wonderlic, you should have had enough example questions that one of the example questions might even pop up on the real exam. Any top prospect of the current generation, who gets below a 20 should be really embarassed

  4. I voted NO       I don't like the cut & run type , Be a man stand up for your self ,

While I agree with this, you dont even need to point that out. He's an awful player. In 8 games he gave up 10 sacks, the Colts O-line as a whole gave up 19. Thats with Luck holding the ball much longer than Tannehill.

  5. Thats-subjective-and-Flacco-got-his-contract-because-he-went-and-won-a-superbowl-I-dont-see-the-Luck-winning-one-for-atleast-2-years-and-this-is-coming-from-a-Luck-fan

Besides Pep and a sub par O-line there's not much standing between Luck and getting his first ring this year.

The NFC and AFC are both very flawed this year. There isnt a team currently in the NFL, that I would give more than a 50% chance to beat the Colts

    Why-is-DHB-not-playing-better-is-it-because-of-Luck?-No

Compared to what we saw out of DHB in Oakland, hes much better.

If you want to see a player regress and progress on a weekly basis. Watch Riley Cooper when he plays with Foles and Vick. Looks like a completely different guy depending on whos throwing him the ball.

  6. This thread... is ridiculous...

First we threw... we threw more than we passed...

Second the play calling is obvious for a reason.. you see its called creating a habitual play which causes defenses to react to a certain play because they see that play.  When you want your big play you hit it and you hit it up and running.  Not Pep's fault that when he decided to hit the pedal no one could catch a single pass...Dropped passes means no rhythm, which usually means that either your QB has to force throws now and/or your running back has to take over the game.  Problem was our oline had 0 push all game save 3 plays in which Richardson took advantage of...

Third.  Fleener...  When is someone going to own up and say this is probably the worst draft pick of Grigson's draft?  Not faulting Grigson but moreso on fleener.  He doesn't play to his size, he gets no separation he plays scared and looks lost almost every play and has never,... (emphasis time) NEVER seemed to take over a game like an elite TE.  heck I can't think of a game where he has played better than Dwayne Allen and that includes blocking and pass catching.  (does he catch passes?)

So yea I think the blame is more on execution this game than anything.  D had no help from O and O had no help from D.  The cycles is vicious and when the D did get a 3n out (helped the O) the O flat lined.  In no way was this a coaching problem.  You may think there was a missed call on the 4th down, but as I see it the whole team couldn't do anything so why put yourself in a bad percentage situation?  Then your usual great punter muffs one... just no way this was a coach's problem...

I believe you meant we threw more than we ran. But that only happened because we got down and threw all over the place to end the game. The stats wouldn't have been nearly as skewed towards the passing as they were if Pep called a better game
