Here you go, Brian:
The Colts are fools gold. Almost all of their wins were close, nail biting affairs. Their biggest wins of the year were 20-13 scores over the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. All things even out over time, so I expect their close games to start going the other way more often.
I'm gonna rip Tim Lynch (@TimLynch1978) a new one when we beat the Manning led Broncos.

Pagano announced DHB was signed to play opposite of Reggie as our #2. It was then, and still is now, clear as day the DHB is our #2 WR.
Even after Pagano was quoted saying it people still like to argue he won't be #2 because they read somewhere he drops too many passes
I think it is just a matter of a few folks loving T.Y. to the point of really wanting him to have a bigger role coupled with the usual contrarians seizing an opportunity in a discussion to parse words.
DHB is the 2. But T.Y. will hopefully get plenty of snaps.

Is it me or does Luck always struggle in practice? I still wonder if he has the arm to be a true great .Just sayin.
Yes, its you. And Luck's arm is better than Peyton Manning's ever was.

??? Thornton is fine. He's booted up purely as a precaution. We're fine. Besides, I'm hoping Ijalana can return and take the Guard spot. Eitherway, McGlynn is probably gonna be on the roster due to his being able to s*ck at multiple positions.
-
...is what Coach Pagano said he read about us going into this season.
Anybody know what writer/talking head said that? I want to be sure which dummy to e-mail/tweet when we start beating the brakes off of the media favorites.
-
Anybody else get the feeling that Grigs/Irsay/Pagano/Hamilton might not go all out to get a prototypical #1 receiver to replace Reggie at all?
I'm thinking if DHB gets back to Maryland form, he IS the prototypical WR that will eventually take Reggie's place. But it is an interesting thought considering Pep/Luck stayed in beastmode at Stanford without elite WR talent.

Everybody loves Oprah
No, everybody doesn't.

God willing 100 more.

That's not a FB; that's a LB or DL
He could be like a Jesse Williams from Bama when they used him on goal line situations to block for Eddie Lacy
Definitely NOT gonna be the Colts we're used to.
-
One thing I can say with some confidence is that there is going to a very extensive playbook with multiple looks. If you're worried about have two TEs and a FB, watch this and don't be surprised if this is one of the formations that are used.
That'll be interesting to see; if we use the BALCO formation.

Well then I think it's been an ignored statement. I don't recall anyone saying that Pagano announced that DHB was our starter.
It was. And I did.
-
Saturday's gonna have to lace'em up then.

Josh mcnary arrives at camp monday
Ryan Grigson said he expects Josh McNary to be in training camp on Tuesday
-
Really? I think you have an exclusive! When did that happen?
Pagano did say DHB is our two immediately after we picked him up.

Colts Mobile:
Holy smokes! I stand corrected. THAT is a FB.

"Raiders WR Darrius Heyward-Bey is going to be a big weapon for Luck and the Colts." - @JoeMontana
Good enough for me! ;)

TY is at his best in the slot that's why the Colts want to keep him there.....The Colts don't have him in the slot because they think he's the third best WR they have him there because they think its where they can get the most out of his skill set.
Spot on!

This offense is going to hurt Hilton which is a shame because he is a darn good receiver.
I don't think so. It isn't a software program that kicks out scripts/codes that do not match.
It's Jimmys & Joes, not Xs & Os. I'm sure Pagano & Pep'll finds ways to get him the ball.
-
Just to clear things up for everyone. DHB will ALWAYS be #2 throughout the year unless he blows it with dropped passes or an injury. Pagano has confirmed this moving forward. Reggie Wayne & DHB outside while TY creates headaches for any defense we play in the slot.
Commonsense is sometimes uncommon.

(sarcasm)There's no such thing as a 1 or a 2 or a 3 etc, etc.(/sarcasm)

It's going to be interesting to watch this play out. We don't really have a true FB. And the fact that we didn't go get Vontae Leach tells me maybe we didn't want one. Havili runs & catches more like he's a cross between Edgerrin James & Eric Dickerson. Perhaps when the design plays out, we're really going to be running 2 back sets instead of the traditional FB. We'll see.
-
The app is the only way I watch them. Way too many scripts from the bloated website. It's brutal.
-
Ehh not a lot of meat on the bone. Which is typical for the author. Still and all an okay read.

I'm sure Andrew'll call his own shots eventually.

...so firstly, a prayer that everyone stays healthy.
Secondly, a prayer that these new D linemen & linebackers expose every weakness in our Oline and the coaches deal with it/them.
