  1. I do not think their will ever be another NFL dynasty under the current conditions. Why wouldn't Seattle be a dynasty? They are one of the youngest teams in the NFL but they won't be able to sign all of their players and they will move on. I am not sure that Seattle will even make the playoffs next year and they were by far the best team in the NFL this year.

That may be the case for Seattle but I don't think that will happen for atleast a couple years. They are that young that they can stay together for atleast a couple more years

  2. And that's why it's time to fire Grigson or Pagano. Whoever idea it is to start bad players at the detriment of the team instead of admitting mistakes and moving on.

    Like Seattle and Matt Flynn

When healthy, Ballard was the best back btw

entitled to your opinion on Ballard, but coming from somebody who constantly calls for Pagano and Grigson's firing? just shake my head lol

  3. I would much rather see a Ballard/Brown attack than Ballard/Richardson

The only problem with that is the 1st rd pick given for Richardson. Cut losses? Grigson aint doing that. Satele was bad enough of a "miss" in free agency and they kept stubbornly plugging him in. Who knows how long we`ll have to endure Richardson IF he doesn`t improve next year

  4. Every time it looks like Brown may have a chance to get re-signed the haters show up. The man showed why he was considered a first round pick by the old regime. He`s a dynamic runner that finally got used by Pep in the right way. He`s no Adrian Peterson but he`s also not the non NFL caliber RB a lot on this forum make him out to be. 3 million a year for a difference maker is too much?

  5. The best rb was injured and grigs traded a 1 for Richardson. No need to pay Brown if you're keeping Richardson. If Richardson isnt better than brown, then Trent needs to be cut now

Which RB was that? Bradshaw? I know Brown has had nagging injuries along the way but chances are Bradshaw will never be able to be relied upon

  6. We all know Ballard isn't a burner....so what? Doesn't mean he isn't a good back. If you don't like the guy, just say you don't like the guy.

Have no problem calling it like it is and its not so much as not liking the guy.

  7. because running backs are not worth the investment of significant $$ in their second contracts, especially mid level talents like Brown. Those guys sign team-friendly deals.

It is really not that hard to figure.

    So get over it.

a first round pick for RB Trent isn't a significant investment? Then got out performed by this forums whipping boy? Nothing here on this end to get over

  8. Edge hurt he knee 13 years ago, medical advancements have been made....it's not uncommon at all for a player to return to form after a ACL tear.

what form? Ballard couldn't run a 40 yard dash without tripping. Was already a 4.6 speed running back, he ain't running away from nobody like Brown can

  9. Why does it seem like most think Donald Brown needs to be "penny pinched" on his salary? The dude proved everybody wrong this year, which I think most just don't want to admit, and was clearly the best RB and at times "weapon" the Colts had not named Luck or Hylton. Ballard the answer? No way, as great as "the Edge"  was he was never the same RB after his knee injury and a healthy Ballard was no where near as talented. Brown earned this chance to be paid and remain a Colt. Get over it

  10. How is it bad energy? Former Stanford teammate reunited (and it feels sooo good! Couldn't resist sorry) with his QB, TE, & WR all on one team

The Stanford connection would keep growing. I say we draft Skov too haha

The dude was "distant", "in his own world" in the Miami locker room, at least according to everything I heard on NFL Sirius radio. It wasn`t isolated to just Incognoto

  11. So you put him in over who?

Put him in over Reed for starters. Marvin Harrison is/was a better WR than Reed, there`s nothing nowhere to prove otherwise? Sorry Reed waited 8 years but that has nothing to do with Marvin, that's on the selection committee.

  12. At a certain point, it's time to move on. For the money that can be saved, it's worth considering letting AV walk if he still wants to be paid a premium rate. And other kickers hit big kicks in big games; AV doesn't hold exclusive rights to making game winners.

Entitled to your opinion. IMO, Why would you not pay for a premium kicker? So roll the dice and go cheap on a kicker? AV is human and could possibly miss any kick, but I`d sure feel better when its him lining up to kick with a game on the line.

  13. IMO, even Reed not getting in has nothing to do with Marvin. Not even close ..

    1000+ yards per season

    Reed-4   Harrison-8

    100+ receptions per season

    Reed- 0  Harrison- 4

    10+ TD`s per season

    Reed- 1  Harrison- 8

For craps and giggles Michael Irvin who IS inducted

1000+ yds per season 7 ..ok close to Marvin`s 8 but..

100+ receptions per season 1! but..

    10+ TD`s per season 1!

Marvin is a top 5 WR in the history of the NFL..it is a snub
