  1. I would also like to know why you think it is out of control. If you don't want to respond in this thread, please feel free to send me a PM as to what is troubling you.

I want you and everyone else to know that you can always come to me and any of the other mods with any problems you may have.

  2. OK, I watched it and took notes. Basically, Tom Brady is a diva because of his hair, his pretty boy image, his fashion style, Giselle, and bad dancing with a scrunchie in his hair.

Geesh, can these shows get any dumber? Let's talk about football guys. If I wanted to listen to that drivel, I would have watched the E channel.

  3. I can't figure out why he'd be on the list except like you say asking for flags...but if you used that criteria Manning would win it hands down...or rather hands up where's the flag look:) So that criteria is out. Celebrating in the endzone is the only other but that doesn't fall under it.

Some of the other would be considered more "hot dogs" than Diva's.

Joe Theismann I don't get at all...Hollywood I remember being more flamboyant than any diva.

Ownes definitely... Farve I suppose with the drama..but not on the field.

My only thought about Joe Theismann is that he may have been considered a diva because he changed the pronunciation of his name to rhyme with Heisman.

The show will be rebroadcast in a few minutes, if anyone cares enough to give it a watch.

  4. OK, I tuned in to watch the end of the show. For anyone who didn't see it, this was the list:

    1. Brett Favre

    2. Terrell Owens

    3. Chad Ochocinco

    4. Deion Sanders

    5. Jim McMahon

    6. Joe Namath

    7. Hollywood Henderson

    8. Joe Theismann

    9. Randy Moss

    10. Tom Brady

I understand why everyone was chosen except for Hollywood Henderson (I have no idea who he is) and Tom Brady. I have never thought of Brady as a diva . . . well, at least not enough to make a top ten all time list. What were the reasons they gave for picking him?

  5. Just get the NFL Network. One of the games is live on NFL Network and the other two will likely be aired a few hours after the game is over.

I have the NFL Network, but it doesn't help me. The live preseason games are always blacked out because I am supposedly in the viewing area.

Yet, I am not in the Indy viewing area and the local Fort Wayne channels do not carry those games. :pullhair:

So, I always resort to WOWO (local Colt's radio station).

  6. IndyNick, you are correct that it is against forum rules to solicit or provide links to unauthorized streaming of an NFL game:

    9. Do not post copyrighted NFL video, links to copyrighted NFL video or illegal NFL radio feeds *anywhere* in the forum or on the site. This is especially true of online game day feeds.Requesting and posting online links to NFL games that are not sanctioned by the NFL are illegal and will be deleted and posters subject to restricted site/forum access. Please make sure that any other videos you post do not include copyrighted material.

I do understand your dilemma. I live near Fort Wayne which isn't that far from Indy, at least in comparison to North Carolina. Yet, it is far enough to be out of the Indy viewing area. In the past, I have only been able to view one of the preseason games and I am assuming the same will be true this year. :hissy:

I realize it is not the same, but I listen to the game via radio. Here is a link to Colt's radio stations that will be streaming the games:

Also, I have many friends and relatives living near Charlotte who are Panther fans so I have adopted the Panthers as my second team. I would like to be able to watch all of their games, but can't justify the expense of the Sunday Ticket to do so. A Panther's radio station helps me out there.

Again, I really do sympathize with you. However, I am closing this thread to avoid the chance that someone may post a link that is not authorized by the NFL.

  7. He was also supposedly seen in a restuarant near Philadelphia.

    So, who knows? :dunno:

Perhaps, the Eagles and the Colts have talked with him.

Perhaps, Randy is just hopping from one NFL city to another to get people talking about Randy.

Perhaps, he just likes good food (well, we already know that) and has the money to hop from city to city to satisfy his hunger.

Or perhaps, as the article says, it just somebody wearing a Randy Moss mask.

  8. Regarding the links to other boards, they have been deleted. Please take notice of this rule:

    5. Do not link to or promote other boards as it causes issues with their fans, especially where they are discussing something concerning our team. This only serves to create board wars and all such links will be deleted and posts/threads edited. Such links can also be viewed as 'promotion' (see rule #1).

    Thank you for your cooperation.

  9. Hello, Bdg57, and welcome! :flowers:

I certainly hope the Colts can stay healthier this year.

You are correct. There are a lot of intelligent football fans here. Although many of the members don't know it, they are responsible for increasing my knowledge of the game.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

  10. Are these tests the same for all teams around the league or are they different? I remember when the Colts released Lilja, they said it was because he failed a physical, but he found a job with the Chiefs. Is that because he worked out enough to pass the physical, or is it different from team to team?

Good question. I did a search and found this. Don't know if the source is credible; but if so, the tests are different.

  11. I agree with Superman (and not just because of the username). You can`t blame Peyton for our post-season problems. Last year, the team had a ton of injuries and we still could have beat the Jets if it wasn`t for poor play by the special teams and Caldwell`s timeout. In the Super Bowl, special teams once again hurt us on that onside kick and the defense played very poorly. Peyton can`t do everything himself.

I know this is somewhat OT; but I wanted to respond to your comment about that onside kick.

Tonight, TMZ was really ripping Hank Baskett. The worst part was the pics of him and that onside kick.

Ouch! That still makes me cry. :tears:
