I don’t see the Steelers passing on Porter. It’s too perfect of a fit for them, and their fans want it. I don’t think they trade out. I said it last night. Is it weird I almost want Mayer, lol? AR throwing to Woods and Mayer would just be unfair.

As much as I like Rivers, I hated the signing. I remember telling a co-worker that we’d just repeatedly be patching an empty hole, and we needed to be truly bad to get our Luck replacement. I wasn’t aware of how correct I was, or how long it would take.

I’d love Torrence, and I’m also high on Avila, but a lot of people seem to have a 3rd round grade on him. With the way the board has fallen, someone I like will fall to us at that pick. It’s just whether the Colts agree with me or not.

I 100% agree. If the media asks a stupid question, make it obvious their question was stupid, so no one else asks a stupid question. I’m tired of my head coach trying to just be friendly with everyone, and feeling he has to give some sort of answer. Don’t waste my time with a useless answer if you’re not actually going to say anything. People think Nick Sirianni comes off as a jerk, but he freaking wins games. If you want a head coach that is the nicest person but can’t call plays to save his life, become a Panthers fan. You can also go there if you want someone who can’t manage a game, because Caldwell is there too.

Steelers absolutely draft him. They’re crazy if they don’t, and their fans will riot. Am I crazy that I kinda hope Mayer falls to us?…

If you believe in a guy enough to draft him in the second round, you trade up to the end of the first round to get the 5th year option. No one did that for Levis. He could fall to the third round. I’m so glad we drafted Richardson. I was so scared for a bit.

Yeah, I like our 2nd and 3rd round picks for oline. We should be able to get one of the top two guards with the 2nd, and one of the top centers with the 3rd. Corner depth is crazy in this draft, so I’d love to pick two of them up with our 4th and 5th, and maybe a linebacker with our second 5th.

I can actually hear that conversation in my head. Irsay: “You know brother, if we could get a name like Harrison in here again, that would be awesome! Chris, do you think we could aim for that Manning kid in a few years too?” Ballard: “Now that’s a loaded question. Listen, you know me. I’ve never been one to flinch, and I think we’ve got a talented football team. We don’t necessarily need to reach for those guys.”

I personally think I’d be the best drafting GM in the NFL due to my skill at Madden drafting. It translates right over. This is why players I’ve been super high on always hit. JaMarcus Russell, Jimmy Clausen, and Jake Locker all went on to be Pro Bowl QBs like I predicted! More recently I said Denzel Mims would one of the best WRs in the 2020 draft, and we all know I was correct there.

This is exactly me, except I almost never sign free agents. I don’t know why Ballard can’t build a 96 overall team only using the draft like I do!
