    Steichen play calling was not great today. Seems like if they didn’t throw bombs they had no other game plan. The good news is AR mentioned this in his presser how they have to use more time on offense to help the defense.

    I still can’t believe there are Ballard defenders after 8 seasons. It’s in colts best interest for this to work so I don’t like it that he is failing.

    I know and I think he is wrong. Colts are always 1 or two plays from winning and contending the lack of elite’s talent is why. What’s that have to do with anything. Colts made the right choice

    The way Ballard runs this team will eventually cause another 2022 season. Eventually players quit caring.

    if Ballard hasn’t changed and we see the same issues every year it’s his issue.

    We hear this every year. When are some of the fans going to realize it’s not happening with those two. We don’t have enough elite talent to get over the hump.

    Colts need more speed at the CB position. Rodgers would make a mistake but because of his speed he could recover easily. We don’t have that.

    We are average. We will never take the next step with Bradley and Ballard.

    We always hang with every team. This team always competes and we rarely get blown out. The issue is we can’t take the next step. It’s always close but no cigar. This is on Ballard because he is stubborn.

    I know but I am sure that they have input of rushing schemes ect. Was this new guy not concerned with the run defense to try and get more sacks. Guess we will find out next week. Packers have a good RB.

    It’s going to be that way when it’s the same thing every year. Nothing ever gets fixed. We always compete but come up short.

    75% passing by stroud. Ha ha My question was more about scheme. Did the scheme with the new DL coach hurt the linebackers? And does his scheme hurt the run game?

    Going to watching this new DL coach closely and hope it wasn’t a mistake to change. What I don’t know is how much does the dline coach have to do with LB? If Ballard didn’t do it all off season he isn’t doing it after the season starts.

    A lot of AR accuracy today was on Steichen. He did not give him any intermediate or easy throws.

    The good from today. Pierce looked great and Mitchell was open. Won’t be long before he gets that chemistry with Mitchell. Plus Richardson finished the game. I think it was more on Steichen. He did blame himself for the lack of a run game today.

    Bears looked really good today. Although I think Levis was probably why bears won.

    The bigger question is where was Davis. They paid him ten million to be Stewart’s backup.
