The more I read up on Abrahams the more I like it. Moved from FS and played lights out at CB. Kudos to the Colts scouting and draft pick.
Multiple family members that played in NFL.
Dad - Donnie Abraham Safety
Cousin - Tim Jennings CB

Would like that. I am not crazy about Lammons.
Cut him…
just kidding. Also in fairness to Jennings he went on to have a nice career with the Bears.
I actually like Lammons, but it's good to have some competition for that backup nickel spot.
Yeah, I actually always like Jennings.

Almost back up.
Jacobs or Watson? LB
Watson or Laube? RB
Hartman or Slovis? QB

Ballard likes positional competition , I think he signs a decent size class.
Probably will. Draft picks don't count as roster spot until they sign.

Interesting Patriots double down at QB with Milton
Yeah, was just about to post I would like Milton and one of the remaining RBs, in the draft thread, and then Milton went.
Slovis or Hartman?
Jacobs or Watson LB
Who are some of the prospects everyone is looking at as potential UDFA?

Colts will have plenty of Cash/Cap to be very aggressive with UDFA signing bonuses if there are players they really like.
I'm not so sure how active we will be in UDFA. Obviously still bring in some, but don't know if it will be double digits like usual?
I'm having a hard time finding a guy for our next 2 picks.
After those, we will be down to 5-6 roster spots remaining, depending on Dabo roster exception status.
After that will have to start swapping out signings and releases.

Agreed. And good options. I'm sure Ballard (I hope) addresses both positions. I like the young guys but we need a vet or two in the rooms.
I was kind of hoping we'd draft a RB in the 5th. But there will still be plenty of choices even after the draft. And Sermon is no slouch when he's healthy.
Yeah I was thinking so too, and we still might grab one here with the last 2 picks.
I think Akers would be a solid guy to bring in if not though.

I think we still need a vet FS and maybe a CB, wouldn't be adverse to another LB that can cover.
Strongest groups:
1. OL
2. DL
3. TE
Weakest groups:
1. LB
2. S
3. RB(still anticipate adding here)
#1 option on defense - Q. Diggs FS
#1 option on offense - C Akers RB

There goes Davis.
Vidal I really like too. He was going to be in my final mock draft that I never got around too.
Yeah Ray Davis went a while ago, you were talking about Isaiah Davis.

Now Im hoping for Frankie Gore jr can make it down to us at pick 201! Then Milton/Travis as backup qb and call it a day!
Would be a solid way to end it the draft.
Been thinking Milton would be a great QB to come take Ehlinger's job.
No threat to Richardson, can learn from Flacco for the year.

What's do we still need?
Strongest position group?(Top 3)
Weakest position group?(Bottom 3)
#1 option on offense and defense that isn't currently on the roster?

Nice pick.
SPT return game should be covered. With new KO rules that becomes more valuable.

Nice pick, Gould wasn't on the list, but more comp. KR is a big point.
Now to the next 2 picks.

Okay. At this point, do teams draft for need or or value?
Probably still a combo, but it would seem like a waste of a pick right now with how the room is currently.
Unless you have him rated that much everyone else.
Fair point though.
