  1. Depth does not always equate talent. Buckner is proven. Yannick is a proven pass rusher and severely lacking in run mm defense. The rest r just high picks.
  2. I like Frank but I am starting to wonder if his lack of urgency and calm demeanor is starting to become the identity of this team,? Trust me I am one of his biggest supporters but 1st game of the year losses and poor starts to the season and then today lol!!!!
  3. Pryor is not the answer. Knew that going into camp even tough they tried to sell him.
  4. I know it looks impressive. However as one coach stated that big punters tend to out punt the coverage.
  5. Not sure but he seems like the only one who can catch and get separation out there.
  6. Kind of like the young De's showed up last year? I am on record as saying this team could go far based on all the additions. However, I have said on this forum and before this game that the biggest thing to watch is the receiver/TE core. This team will go as far as that group because I think they r kind of solid every where else. After watching the 2 quarters of this game, I am like kind of taken aback. I know it is pre season but man Ryan was looking long. U could tell with his eyes and him pumping the ball. He had to settle for the check down. Screams of receivers not getting open. Got news for u. Ty wont solve that problem. They have to go with it. The Oline does not look overly impressive.
  7. That's on Ballard, but I guess u can all blame Reich for having 5 different qbs and no recievers to speak of the last 5 years.
  8. The Bills run and undersized D front. Thr vaunted Cokts Oline should own them. They play a vanilla cover D. It's not complicated. The O so far looks like trash. Absolutely no explosion
  9. I think u missed my point. Yea he is taking the check down.....great. That is concerning for me cause once again it leaves me to believe our wrs cannot separate or get open. 1st game....yes.
  10. I walk away from this game so far with some major concerns. My post said this morning that the biggest thing to watch was the receiver/TE group. Now I don't have access to game tape, but it sure looked like Ryan was trying to go down field. Man I we go into the season and this group once again fails us. That was not a good look by the 1st team offense at all.
  11. I don't think he is taking the check down by choice. I think they r not getting separation.
  12. U see Ryan pumping out there when trying to pass? He is looking long with 1st read.
  13. U mean throwing down field during practice? This is the 1st pre season game.
  14. Well it should shouldn't it? Remember this is an elite OIine with a billion dollars invested and numerous #1's.
  15. This offence seems to be regressing as practice and pre season moves along. Not much push from this vaunted Oline against a smaller D front. Where's the separation from the receivers?. It seems Ryan wants to throw it down field but ends up dumping it off.
  16. Buckner. DT's can hit a wall fast. Kelly. He is sliding big time. Nelson. Injuries last year have me worried. Leonard. Enough said. When it is all said and done, I don't have tons of faith in Ballard. Playoffs once under his watch. This off season was great, but I believe Irsay had a lot of input as to how it all broke down.
  17. Read my other posts. I expect the Colts to make noise based on their current rosterHowever until they do anything it is all conjecture. Young players can get better and/or simply not move the needle. Also, older players can regress.
  18. Look at my posts. I predicted that the D line is going to take a huge leap because of the scheme and their individual traits. However until that happens its just a prediction and not based at all on what they have achieved. It's just a feeling.
  19. On paper, they should be our strongest, but results r what matter.
  20. We so far lack talent on the D line. Having a bunch of guys doesn't mean u have depth if they are mostly garbage. I do expect the D line to improve with this new scheme. If they don't, then we know they are not that talented and that's on Ballard, as this scheme seems to suit each players skill set.
