1. Never dismiss a rape allegation. They should always be taken seriously.
2. This report is from 1 website. Wait for other outlets to confirm. As of the time I'm posting this, it's the only website to mention Okereke involved in this. Google "Bobby Okereke rape". The reddit thread is the only one that came up.
3. There are serious issues with the Title IX process over the past few years.
4. "Innocent until proven guilty" and "Take every rape allegation seriously" are not mutually exclusive.
All excellent points.

Ehhh. It doesn’t seem like any legal action was taken at all civil or criminally.
He must have checked out okay because Ballard and the Colts felt comfortable taking him.
Accusations are tough sometimes. Sometimes correct and sometimes terrible lies.
....and for the most part we never find out the truth one way or another.

Further tweet with details of rest of the series, looks to be a good one:

I absolutely loved these episodes last year and, as someone who enjoys seeing more of the detail within the playbook, I can't wait to see the full episode with our own #12!

I am still thrown by the fact the OP stated that they can hear thoughts!

I love that Ballard does this, gives a real perspective on what the scouts were thinking on each drafted prospect:
Little nuggets like this on Campbell:
While Campbell flaunted his talents at rookie minicamp last week – that speed, those hands, one smooth, effortless route after another – the biggest hurdle he’ll have to clear in the pros, Ballard said, is learning to play on the outside. Campbell played almost exclusively in the slot as a Buckeye. Reich and offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni will certainly use him there, but the scheme, heavy on multiple formations, will require him to work near the sideline as well.
“The question with Parris: How long will it take him to really learn how to play outside?” Ballard said. “He just hasn’t done it. That’s gotta be an adjustment. How long did it take Reggie Wayne? And I’m not calling him Reggie Wayne, but Year 3? Maybe it happens Day 1, maybe it’s Year 3, you don’t know.”

Frank Reich and Andrew Luck lock eyes from across the field on Day 1 of OTA's when they see the amount of talent they have at their disposal this year:

First, thanks for posting Dave!
My 2 cents: Do you or anyone else have access to their preseason annual rankings from LAST year? THAT would make the credibility of this list far more credible. Did they perhaps talk about how they nailed it last year? Or is it like most lists and they toss out fluff like we all do but in their case they get paid to do it?
Also, it is nice to see Pascal getting some love from people outside our board. I felt like one of the only people pointing out his potential most of the offseason. Most either never mentioned him at all, or just assumed he would be an automatic cut. He may well be, but I think he flashed some positive stuff actually on the field in real games last year as opposed to our rookie and our injured reserve player.
Thanks again for posting Dave.
@Irish YJ has done a nice job of looking at last year's predictions and eventual outcomes above.

I am sure Ballard had a quote early in his tenure along the lines of "You know you are doing something right when your cuts end up on another team's 53", and I can see that happening with a good few of our guys this year.
Exciting times.

Chris Wesseling from NFL.com (and Around the NFL Podcast) has issued his annual "NFL's top 10 Offenses" list, with the Colts at #2, behind only the Saints.
Below is the link to the full article:
With below being a copy of the Colts section from the article:
2) Indianapolis Colts
Quarterback: A | Andrew Luck, Jacoby BrissettPerhaps the league's biggest mystery entering the season, Luck shrugged off early questions about his arm strength, finishing second only to Mahomes with 39 touchdowns while collecting Comeback Player of the Year honors. Just four months from his 30th birthday, the former No. 1 overall draft pick is a different quarterback under play-caller supreme Frank Reich, showing a quicker release time, superior ball placement and a command of the pocket.
Backfield: B | Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines, Jordan Wilkins, Spencer Ware
From Week 7 through Indianapolis' victory over the Texans in the Wild Card Round, Marlon Mack led all running backs in rushing first downs (51) and ranked second in carries (197), rushing yards (933) and rushing touchdowns (10). Can he stay healthy, run between the tackles and match that level of production across 16 games and a postseason run? Receiving specialist Nyheim Hines caught 63 passes as a rookie, showcasing the ability to beat linebackers and safeties on third downs. Versatile former Chiefs back Spencer Ware was recently signed for insurance.
Receiving corps: B+ | T.Y. Hilton, Devin Funchess, Eric Ebron (TE), Jack Doyle (TE), Parris Campbell, Chester Rogers, Zach Pascal, Deon Cain
Luck is going to love throwing to big-bodied former Panthers wideout Devin Funchess and rookie playmaker Parris Campbell after leaning heavily on undrafted projects (Rogers, Pascal, Alie-Cox, Erik Swoope) and journeymen free agents (Ryan Grant, Dontrelle Inman) for significant portions of the 2018 season. Throw in a healthy version of Doyle, and this figures to be one of the most improved position groups in the division.
Offensive line: A- | Anthony Castonzo, Braden Smith, Quenton Nelson, Mark Glowinski, Ryan Kelly, Joe Haeg, Evan Boehm
Prior to Reich's arrival, the Colts couldn't run the ball or protect Luck. With rookie All-Pro Quenton Nelson setting a bone-jarring tone, both of those problems vanished by midseason. The offensive line went from long-running punchline to head of the class, paving the way for nine 100-yard rushing performances (including the postseason) while leading the NFL in stingiest sack rate (2.8%). The starting line returns intact for 2019.

Just a shot in the dark, but a lot of pressure on Clelin Ferrell.

Buying a newspaper at Glasgow airport many years ago and next in line was one of my football (soccer) favourites. I nodded, shook his hand and said "hello Alistair, hope you are well". "You too big man" he said, and off I went. Wife went minty when I told her later. Why didn't you get his autograph she asked. I shrugged, 'respect'......
My absolute hero as a lad.

I know there is no real tangible reason for this, but I am on board the Cain hype train!
With Hilton as our WR1 and then Funchess, Cain and Campbell we could be deadly.

With three picks in round 2, we could get some real quality based on the length of that list.

Ballard said in his presser before Round 1 "see you Thursday, or maybe Friday, with a smile." He meant it.
Yesterday, after Round 1, he said, "he may not be done yet gaining picks" and I would be shocked if we don't pull off another trade.
Sure he walked off the podium saying something along the lines of "that 34th pick is going to look pretty good to other teams".
He knows what he has and I wouldn't be surprised if we fall further back.

There is a special place in hell for those who share spoilers of any type.
It is literally in the name, you are spoiling it for others. What is your (no pun intended) endgame here?!

Very good summary of the players and it feels like a very good representation of what's likely to happen. Several notes - I didn't see it in his tape but it seems like Fant had similar hands issues to Ebron(high drop %). Also you've mistaken Dexter Lawrence's name... but other than that, great job.
I never even noticed that. If we can get Demarcus Lawrence in this years draft, Ballard really would be the messiah!!!

I saw Stampede Blue mocked Simmons to us. Seems he was a top 5/10 guy before the injury so it is just whether we would be willing to take the risk on the injury, I think the issue with the assault seems to be less of an issue than other prospects in recent years (ie Mixon), from what I can gather.
Matt Danely did mention his concern with the ACL is more the position he plays, coming up against 330lb linemen snap after snap and the strain that could put on an already tender body part.
Love the Board though @NewColtsFan. As someone with very limited draft knowledge, good snippets of information on all.

I am sure they did a video last year where they revealed the fixtures to Reich and got his live reaction.
Was a really good watch and he placed emphasis on our good bye week position (like you say NCF). Hopefully do something similar again to go with the bundles of content they seem to be creating.

Going by lookalikes....
Adam Vinitieri as the Old Man in the Tree (Three Eyed Raven)
Anthony Castonzo as Bronn
Mark Glowinski as Robert Baratheon (personal favourite)
Ryan Kelly as Hodor

It does seem like there are considerably fewer mocks to read on the forum than in previous years especially here in these last few weeks leading into the draft...
5 hours ago, crazycolt1 said:Maybe Ballard has effected that?
Trying to guess or anticipate who he will pick has some just wondering what to think?
I think last year the early pick created a lot of the buzz on here from a Colts perspective.
Much easier to scout who we think we would want at 6 than the huge amount of possibilities at 26.

Even More Colts Hype

Anyone else getting a sinking feeling from all the hype we are getting?
Maybe just my pessimistic Scottish nature but I saw someone on Twitter saying our FLOOR was 10-6.
Don't get me wrong, I love where this team is going.....but I liked our old status as underdog with something to prove.
