Is that the joke Grigson team that went to the playoffs 3 years on the bounce. Haters forget the good times, as they revel in the bad.
That wasn't a good team. Yes, they made the playoffs 3 years in a row but mainly because of Luck. The good times were good but let's not forget that he's the same guy who took Phillip Dorsett over Landon Collins.

here's all 55 of Peytons TDs in Denver

We could never get OBJ, not even in our dreams

Oh shut the hell up. It says one nation under God that’s everyone .... ONE not separate .... it doesn’t say blacks, and whites under God or Muslims under God it SAYS ONE!
Take your Race bait somewhere else
you can't be this dense. it says one nation under god and then references slaves in the same anthem....it may not outright reference race but I wonder which race was enslaved during this time? or am I race baiting by bringing up the fact that the anthem is pro slavery?

That's a stretch
“And where is that band who so vauntingly swore,
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country, should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave,
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave.”it's not a stretch by any means.

I could care less
The proper expression is "I could not care less".
It's pretty ironic for people to to say keep politics out of the league when the league is literally filled to the brim with politics. It's also ironic that the national anthem doesn't even represent everyone (it alludes to minorities and slaves not being equal to whites) but it's a problem when minorities protest it...smh

Do it somewhere else ..... football is not a social platform. You get paid to play not talk. Wanna change stuff become a politician.
You realize this sentence is the epitome of "shut up and dribble" right?

I'd prefer we only sign men, not ignorant, scared little boys. Hard pass.
This is a very ignorant post, I must say.

It's pretty dumb for him to be ignored in FA just because he protested the anthem. We need help any and everywhere, even if Geathers comes back.

Swoope is a playmaker you must have never watched games when he played
I have watched last season, unfortunately. Yes, Swoope is a playmaker but Thomas would be better right now if Luck plays. Sign Thomas to a 1 year deal then let Swoope take over next season.

Why we already got two good TE we wouldn't even use him
Doyle is good, who's the other good TE? He'd be a lot better than Swoope.
1 hour ago, Myles said:For cheap he might be OK. He has never started all 16 games of a season. He wasn't great in Jax for 2 years and nothing big in Miami last year. Maybe you are remembering him from his 1 great year in Denver.
Peyton made him great in Denver, I will concede that. Neither the Jags nor the Dolphins has good enough QBs, although he was also injury prone. I think it would be a good gamble and Luck would benefit from more two TE plays.

Please sign Julius Thomas!

There's absolutely no way we didn't at least give guys like Malcolm Butler, Andrew Norwell, and Carlos Hyde a look. I don't believe it. Not with as many holes as we have on this team. Ballard must be very very strict as far as what he will and what he wont pay for these guys. I do think we should have signed at least one of these big name guys tho. We have too many needs.

Marvin. And its not that close
for me.
i think part of this thread shows that many Colt fans didnt witness the Marvin years. Us older farts do, but many here were in diapers.
and the think his knee trouble at the end skewed the perspective of some. Unfortunately, most people remember the last thing they saw. I just dont think Reggie or TY put the FEAR into DBs like Marvin. All are solid, but Marvin was on another level (at least in these eyes)
I'm 23 and I remember the late 00's of Harrison's career. He was awesome. He was also pretty injury prone his last few years in the league, and had got his butt handed to him when we played the Chargers in '07.
I love Marv and while he was insanely productive in scoring TDs during the regular season, he's only scored two TDs in the playoffs ever. You knew Hilton was a star when he stole KC's heart in the wild card a few years ago. As of now it's Harrison >>>> Wayne > Hilton
I just wish Harrison would've balled in the playoffs more.

The Steelers made the playoffs in 2015 without Bell due to injury. They somehow managed to make the playoffs with the amazing DeAngelo Russell.

We really shouldn't take Barkley, although I'd be happy with him.

Boy, the previous regime really ruined Luck's recovery, smh

I hope we either take Chubb or trade down and take Nelson.
Also, I'm wishing we somehow take Guice...

Depends too much on free agency and draft to know yet..As we sit, if Luck is healthy 9-7, if we hit on draft and free agency 12-4...No Luck, Brissett starting in same scenario 7-9 floor, 10-6 if we play offseason right...
this
although I don't want to say my expectations until we know for sure if Luck is playing.

Please don't hire Campbell.
Just cancel next season, FFS

ah....that darn saltiness is setting in
now I wont be hype about next season until after the damn draft

Bad teams get to the playoffs every year.
The Colts and Pats are two completely different situations. Not one person would say that Brady is the sole reason for winning 5 SBs when he had a good infrastructure around him. The Colts clearly overachieved with his terrible infrastructure, I don't think there is one person who believes we would have won a SB with Pagano.
