Mathieu makes plays, there is no doubt about that, but if we have a top 10 pick, you don't use that on a 5'9 175 lb corner. He could be a great nickel corner but you don't draft a nickel guy with a high no. 1, and I don't see how he would be a starting SS at his size.

The previous regime never signed guys until right before training camp. I will say I'm surprised though, given the rookie wage scale and the fact that we have practically the first pick in every round so the contracts should be set in stone already.

Look, I get the joke & I am no Patriots fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I respect Wes Welker as a clutch WR & it really burned me when New England fans did that foolish butterfinger candy bar fiasco shortly after their SB loss to the NY Giants. Yes, I was estatic to see Eli defeat Brady & Co. in their 2nd SB, but come on Pats fans...Welker has been a great mover of the chains for your franchise over the years.

Stop treating him like sub standard goods okay. We don't need Welker in INDY & he does play for our arch nemesis, but I have a ton of respect for Welker going all the way back to his Miami Dolphins days.

I don't know why anyone believes he is just going to go into Denver and dominate the NFL like its 2004 or something. He probably has one realistic run left in him if he's all healed. It'll take more time to get to know his new team and even with Manning they're probably about 6th in line at least for SB favorites. Love the guy, but I don't foresee dominance here soon.

Yes but Angerer is only 235 (maybe) where as ray Ray is probably pushing 260 at this point in his career. I wasn't talking about height.

I think the Middle Linebacker positions should have people more worried. Nobody on our roster really fits as a 3-4 MLB, Angerer included (typical size wise). The depth there is non-existant.

I doubt he'll be a first round pick. Lattimore is probably the only back with a first round grade, provided he returns to his pre-injury form.

Jones, Montgomery, Mingo, Woods, Amerson, or Kawann Short. Hopefully if we get a really high pick we can trade that for a kings ransom to a QB needy team and maybe we can get one or two impact players in the first round.

I could see how people would say the Colts, we haven't proved anything yet. Browns are going to go 0 for the division, as are the Vikes.
