Im not sayin Luck, Ebron and Hilton and the rest of the team need to become jerks.

What i'm missing is to see Luck with a brady esk attitude on the sideline, and the same from Ebron.

they sometimes look to relaxed on the sideline, instead of having the same fire in their eys, as brady, gronk and eddelman someties shows when the pats are playing.

their attitude, just show much more winning is everything attitude than what i often see from the colts players.

brady slams his WR´s if they dont do their jobs... I havn't seen luck yell or fireup his offence on the sidelines.

    Want more of this?

We don't now what does or does not happen on the Colts sideline. We only see what the cameras allow. Plus I'm sure there are plenty of players around the league who yell on the sideline that aren't any good at all.

Brady is the greatest QB of all time and New England is the greatest dynasty of all time, but it's not because they yell at each other. There's a lot of factors there.

FWI I read an article recently suggesting the Eagles might be open to trading Nelson Agular due to cap issues.  They don't have much cap space and he's going to count 9.5m. with a 5th. yr option coming up.  Reich knows him well and Wentz is not a sure thing to play a whole season.  Another possibility for a package to be worked out.  Not the perfect situation for Brissett but it sounds on the surface that they could be another possibility.

While I don't think the Eagles will be interested in Brissett, I can see the Colts being interested in Agholor given the Reich connection.

I want Sapp, which is why I don't care for the Lewis pick.  He should get no playing time once we draft the guy we actually need.  Or he's a pure backup.  Autry is fine, since he's the vet who fills the need in the new D until we draft the Sapp.  I'm assuming that'll come this year at 26 or 34 since its a deep draft.

You're not going to find a Warren Sapp at pick 26 or 34. You might not even find an Autry.

I'd be OK with either of the Smiths.  They will still command a heft price, as you say, but are solid players with upside.

I think Preston Smith fits the Ballard type signing to a 'T". I think he was a bit misused in the 3-4 and can be even better as a full time DE in a 4-3. I expect him to be the main Pass Rush target for the Colts provided none of the top guys make it to FA.

I think one of the main reasons is because they only call screens when it's extremely obvious that we're going to be running a screen

This is one of the top reasons. The key to most good screens is disguising the fact that it is a screen. They can certainly improve that. The WR screens this year actually worked pretty well, but the RB not so much.

There are other factors as well. Sometimes Luck doesn't set his feet when throwing a screen across his body to the left, which sometimes causes a low throw. Also, none of our backs break tackles that well, especially Hines.

Hopefully they make an emphasis to improve because it could be a deadly part of the arsenal with speedy backs and athletic linemen.

Because Ebron has year left on his contract.  Because Doyle is coming off a major injury and that does not take into account his hip.  Because Swoope has proven to be very replaceable and because he drafts players to make the team better.  So if one of those is a TE, he will most certainly do it.

This! Zack Keefer of the star mentioned on the radio that there some concern that Doyle's hip issue may end up needing surgery. TE can't be discounted.

I really like Clowney as a perfect ER in our scheme.  I just can't see him getting to FA either and there is no way they would do a tag and trade with the Colts.  Clowney, unfortunately,  looks like the most unlikely to be a Colt.

From what I've read in a few places they all expect Clowney to get tagged this year but no long term deal. Most have speculated he could actually hit the market the following year when Watson is up for extension.

  8. Trey Flowers will most likely be the highest profile guy available. I'd like him as a Colt but he has likely priced himself out or their range. I know Colts have the most cap space and he's a very good player, but not an elite rusher worthy of 15+ million a year.

After that you're looking at guys like Preston Smith or Za'Darius Smith. Solid players who will still command a hefty price.

Here's a very informative article about these types of issues in athletes.

    Here are my takeaways:

    1. They are VERY common in athletes, especially in offensive lineman.

    2. Simple rest may be all that's needed, or some basic medication.

    3. If pain persists, surgery can be an option. Superstars like Tony Romo and Dwight Howard are examples of players who successfully returned after surgery. But even the surgery is considered relatively minor.

    4. As it pertains to Big Q, hes gonna be fine. He just really needs to take it easy on his back for a few weeks, and I'm sure he has access to world class therapy that will help make the healing even easier.

Colts nation, everything is fine. Dont panic, hes gonna be alright

I've had two herniated disc surgeries myself, they are not fun in the slightest. Surgery is really only on the table if the bulge of the disc herniates (meaning the gel-like fluid inside springs a leak) or if the bulge is big it rubs on a spinal nerve. The latter cain cause numbness and weakness in the extremeties.

As was mentiones, the surgery is outpatientand relatively minor. Full recovery for me was about 6-8 weeks. One just needs to be careful with their back going forward because the disc is smaller than it was before and leaves less cushion between the vertebrae.

If they are just minor bulged discs not irratating any spinal nerves, rest, anti-inflamitories and chiropractic/traction can usually calm them down most of the time.

Lots of guys in the NFL have had them and some like Watt and Gronk have had the surgery and come back fine.
