  1. Great!! So, Ballard has adjusted his philosophy from winning games in the trenches to include winning games by making FG's and blocking FG's... Maybe in another 6 years his philosophy will include Skill positions OMG...
  2. This IMHO should have been offered weeks ago. It's a no brainer to me. Cards get a desperate need on offensive skill and O-line now that they will likely only have Rondale and OldMan Ertz and the Colts would walk away with 2 Premium positions in NFL on rookie contracts. QB and DE or DT that can rush the passer. I would at least throw it out there. Chances are Ballard won't though.
  3. With all respect. You have no idea what you are talking about. So just stop with this coveting/comparing of players, talented or not. Was Sanders and Gainwell/Scott, Taylor? Absolutely not. Who went to the SB again? Oh yea, that's right, the team with RB's nowhere near the Ferrari that is Taylor. This is about putting a team together to be in and hopefully WIN A SB.
  4. Another position of non-value in the league. Let some other team give him huge money. Moss and Jackson are sufficient. Even though I'm fine with the kicker signing, you can't keep giving big money contracts to positions that are not highly valuable in the league. i.e guard, MLB, and RB
  5. If I'm the Colts, I send Ryan Kelly and Jonathan Taylor to the cardinals for the 3rd overall this year and a 1st or second next year. Cards nee a center and an RB Colts would have 3 and 4 this year. Grab the QB and DE back to back. Also, I'm hoping that the Colts sign Hardman.
  6. I was only curious. I don't mind or care if you are here, nor would it matter if I did either way. I'm a football fan as well, I've just never attempted to go to another teams forum before. Anyways, enjoy!!
  7. You can't be serious? On a day when the Colts NEVER do anything, somebody's got to lighten the mood. Here's a serious question. If you are a Vikings fan, why are you on a Colts forum?
  8. I like Comet and Vixen better personally, but hey, to each their own right?
  9. there's a rumor he will sit out unless he gets deal. won't sign tag. reported this morning.
  10. **BREAKING** I have a friend that is a dog lover and knows this guy who delivers dog shampoo to this other guy who is a dog groomer in Indy and he just told me that Ryan Kelly's dog was given to Jameis Winston and that the dog is staying in Indy.
  11. Welp, it's that time again. If history has proved one thing for the Ballard, the Colts and Free Agency, it's that we all can now go radio silent until the draft. Catch ya'll in April
  12. Trade back to gain a 1st next year and grab Flowers or Nelson
  13. If the Bears were inclined to move off Fields and take a QB at 1 overall, why would we ever give up our 1st for Fields? If anything, we could get him for pick 35 or a third at that point. Same with Lance, we could get him for pick 35
  14. Apr 8, 2022, 11:51 AM ET MATT RYANQB, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS The Athletic's Mike Sando reports an NFL executive said "age has caught up" with Matt Ryan. “I had him with a big decline last year," the league exec said. "Matt has had a phenomenal career, a great quarterback, but it wasn’t like he was super big athletic or had a super strong arm. I see the skills declining a little bit quicker for him as a result. I think they could be looking at another quarterback in a year, and if they don’t win, look out for Irsay.” The Colts in March acquired Ryan for the low price of a third-round draft pick after Carson Wentz's 2021 late-season meltdown that left the team out of the postseason. In a terrible Atlanta offense last season, Ryan posted the third lowest adjusted yards per attempt (6.8) of his career along with his second-worst touchdown rate (3.6 percent). Ryan finished the year 23rd in adjusted expected points added per drop back, behind Wentz. In Indianapolis, Ryan will be charged with taking care of the football and operating an offense centered around Jonathan Taylor and the run game. Any decline he's experienced might not matter if Ryan, 36, isn't asked to do a whole lot in 2022.
  15. on an off-topic side note, did anyone see Mike brown wearing his hat during the super bowl? It was pathetic and I found it very sad that no one around him would be kind enough to tell that guy, Yo Mike, grab another hat or at least fix the one he had on his head I'm very sarcastic and cynical but I actually was really upset by that That's like elder abuse...
