  1. Will Anderson could be the next Von Miller?? Lets just pick him and roll with Minshew as starter and draft a WR at #35. I am not really serious but what if we went that route
  2. If the Vikings can get better on defense, they would be real dangerous. Cousins isn't great but good. He is a lot like Dak, every year they just fold in the playoffs. Strange but true. To your question, LT, (Rainman would be great depth), WR = a deep threat, and I am just waiting to see the 1 million dollar question - who will be our next QB. Minshew was a good pickup but he will probably be the backup to whoever we draft. I still want Lamar but I give that a 10% chance of happening. Ballard would never do that.
  3. He had 1 bad game against Myles Garrett on Monday night and people think he is terrible . Garrett is probably the best pass rusher in the league.
  4. I think the things that bother you about Cousins is he takes up a lot of the Salary Cap and he fails in the playoffs quite a bit. Having said that with him, you have a punchers chance at winning a SB and you usually make the playoffs with him which gives you something week in and out to look forward too. - Vikings are never a boring team with Cousins. As a Colts fan I would take that, at least make the playoffs and able to enjoy many wins in the regular season. Winning the SB is obviously the goal but only 1 team does that. Just get that 1 SB win with Cousins and you will by his jersey
  5. Cousins is better than Tannehill. I want no part of Tannehill or Mayfield, they have shown me enough of incompetence play . Mayfield signed with Tampa, thank God he wasn't on our radar.
  6. He had spurts where he played well, I am not a huge PFF fan either. PFF doesn't factor in if a guy is playing injured which he did half the season. Myles Garrett is one of the best pass rushers out there as well (might be the best), so using the Browns as a Tackle having 1 bad game is lame.
  7. When we passed on Darrisaw I wasn't happy at all but then again Ballard tends to do things that nobody can predict
  8. I wanted Darrisaw, he is good. Yeah the big fella's up front get very little credit but without them the offense doesn't flow right.
  9. I would love if the Colts had him to go along with Nelson on that left side . That is a guy that looks like he could eat 10 pancakes caped in syrup in his sleep.
  10. Yep, they may win that division next year if the 49ers have trouble keeping their QB's healthy.
  11. Seahawks are having a pretty good offseason. After what Pete Carroll pulled off last year, I will never doubt him again. I thought the Seahawks would suck last year and they made the playoffs.
  12. Letting Zeke go also gives them more cap space. Pollard is a good RB and more than capable of taking over full-time duties. Dak isn't a great QB but is good, load that team up for him and keep the D at the good level, they will be dangerous.
  13. Cowboys are putting all chip in. Covering their basis, they are far from done IMO. They will probably sign a bigtime WR or trade for one, I can see it coming.
  14. That is a hell of a debate between who's better - Mariota vs Minshew? I think it is pretty even. Thing is we pretty much know who Mariota is at this point and it is basically him being an average starter and a good backup. Minshew really hasn't got a chance as a starter for a full season on any team. He was 6-6 with Jacksonville his rookie season which is good considering that team was bad in 2019. Career wise: Mariota = 92 TD's/54 INT's Minshew = 44 TD's/15 INT's Mariota = 7.5 YPA Minshew = 7.1 YPA (Minshew was at 8.7 last year on a good team filling in for Hurts) Mariota - 62.6 Comp% Minshew - 62.8 Comp% Mariota eventhough faster, his best season in rushing yards was 359, Minshew 344 Yards = pretty even. I think both are basically 8-8 QB's if they have roughly the same surroundings on good teams. Minshew is 3 years younger so he has more time to develop at only 26 years old. I would lean Minshew is better as of today but by a hair.
  15. I respectfully disagree that Watson is better than Lamar. Watson had Hopkins from day 1 = 2017-2019 putting up huge numbers for him, Hopkins was the best WR in football those 3 years. Lamar hasn't had anyone close to that. Each QB has only won 1 playoff game so that is a wash but Lamar's overall winning % is much higher and Lamar has won an MVP. To my 1st sentence, there is the problem. Lamar feels like a player that he is better than is making way more money. Lamar also doesn't have baggage like Watson has with the stuff Watson has done off the field.
  16. Yeah, why not take a chance. You only live once. He is only 26 as well. He seems like he has been in the league for 15 years , I don't know why but he is young.
  17. Love it, I think if given a chance he could be a good starter. He will love having Taylor. He will be a great backup if nothing else. He has a 44 TD to 15 INT's ratio in his career. I like that stat.
  18. I wish we would get Lamar but we won't IMO. I give us a 10% chance at that which says it all. Lamar IMO will probably stay in Baltimore. Baltimore would be dumb to let him go.
  19. Regarding Colts QB's since Luck retired, I am 2-1-1 on how it would turn it out. 2019: I said Jacoby would be average and we would be basically 8-8 with him, he was 7-7 in games he started and finished. I never said he would be a franchise QB or he would stink. (I get a tie for that one). 2020: Loved the Rivers signing, I said we would go 10-6 or 11-5 with him + make the playoffs and he would be good. (that was a win). 2021: I hated the Wentz signing and had my doubts we would make the playoffs. He was just shaky. I was right, we missed the playoffs. (that was a win) 2022: Loved the Matt Ryan signing, I was way wrong on this one. I thought we would win the division with him and his background. (that was a loss). 2-1-1 overall on predictions on how our starters would do. Once we get our QB this year I will predict again, I think Minshew will be the backup for the most part but a damn good one.
  20. That is what makes it fun. Lets see who is right and who is wrong. By the way if we draft Levis and he is great I will be happy because that means we are winning
  21. Yeah that sucks! I heard about it earlier and the Mets paid him top dollar as the best closer in the league. If I was a GM and I signed them, I would make my players sign that they can't partake in anything physical outside of Mets baseball. I remember when a star basketball player coming out of college got hurt in a pickup game just playing for fun on the playground. It wrecked his whole career. I will have to look up his name but players can't be doing off the wall stuff, like skiing, riding a motorcycle, playing in pickup games, swimming with sharks - Just joking
