  1. Lmao, give me a Bengals team that’s only missing some pieces vs. a Colts team that’s in seriously you know what if they get this year wrong. I love my Colts all day every day but I don’t envy Ballard right now.
  2. You'll need to add Irsay to the consideration on all this too. When it comes to QBs, he always has his hand in the decision process. Would he accept a trade for Fields?
  3. I think Justin is a good QB with good potential. He's exciting, and contrary to what a few believe I've seen him throw at Soldier Field and he's got the arm for it. The Bears should honestly continue to work with him and keep teaching him. If they let him go I think it would be a big mistake. Get the guy some more weapons, and figure out what to do with Luke Getsy (the offensive coordinator who just so happens to be the least successful coordinator in Bears history...)
  4. I hope so. Because again I'd rather have someone that we personally drafted. I don't think I can be swayed from this perspective though I respect why others want Fields so badly.
  5. ... So wait... If the Bears don't know how to properly evaluate QBs because they passed on Watson (who I still personally think is overrated to be honest) and Mahomes, what does that say about Justin Fields who is yet another QB they themselves chose?
  6. Fine with me. Seriously. If the Bears truthfully think this class is better than Fields, why take him?
  7. Still think the Bears are making a smokescreen to cause someone to panic and jump to 1. It's the car salesman approach of "someone really likes _______ car so better jump on it fast!" "You know we REALLY like x QB in this draft, maybe we'll trade Fields and get them..." And then the other teams (Texans) decide to jump to 1 so the Bears don't take their guy.
  8. If we wanted to continue getting someone else's sloppy seconds, why not just get Derek Carr and save the draft picks? He's available right now and we don't have to trade anything for him. Haven't we used our 1st round picks on other players enough? I want the next QB starting on this team to have been chosen and developed by us, not another team.
  9. I'd still think I'd rather just take one of the top defenders available, roll with Sam or a 2nd/3rd round rookie and call it good. If we're terrible, then we've possibly got a front row ticket to Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.
  10. I like Fields, but I'm gonna pass on this. It has nothing to do with Justin but everything to do with getting "our guy". And honestly, I think I'd rather trade back or stay put, bulk up on some 1st round talent and then get Hooker or McKee in the 2nd/3rd round over trading that 4 for Fields.
  11. We are super excited to see another Bengal in! Watching Riley highlights right now
  12. He's back. But he's under a lot more scrutiny, from us that is.
  13. And it worked out beautifully for them. A top 5 pick. They could trade up, or they could trade back and get a slew of picks. Or they could stay put and get the #1 WR making their offense even more dangerous.
  14. Yep. They destroyed his body, and yet he soldiered back out onto the field and nearly won the game. The pick sealed it and the rest is history… Still wish we could’ve had a Manning Favre Super Bowl.
  15. And threw an interception with the Vikings during that fated 2009 championship game.
  16. Crazy to think about. But if he indeed retires his final play will have been an interception, just like Brett Favre.
  17. So uh… think ARod shows up to Pat’s show this week?
