  1. Then he really probably should've just stayed quiet. I honestly liked that about Marshawn Lynch. Let the performance on the field do the talking. I guess the agent told him to talk...
  2. Very, very happy that he will play. It's good for the team, the fans and himself. I'm wondering if he was required to do this presser. It seemed unnecessary on his end...
  3. It was well documented my friend. And remember Chris actually confirmed it was true during his presser before the season started.
  4. Hasn't practiced with the team in nearly 300 days... Is that actually true? When did he get shut down last season again?
  5. I'll join in just because you and I are buds. His statement about wanting to win a championship for the city is definitely a lie if he was demanding a trade. He also shouldn't talk about caring about the fans after he spat in the direction of one during training camp.
  6. Great post lmao... I was thinking the same thing in my head. How very Marshawn Lynch of him...
  7. Sounds more like he's reading from his agent's script right now. Like a politician... or a used car salesman...
  8. Welcome back, JT. Let's get to work, win some games this season and get you paid. Does anyone else feel like he was possibly waiting to see if Richardson was legit? Like now that he's seen Anthony play NFL level ball he's ready to recommit to the team? Just me? lol...
  9. Correct, not every team can have one, but once a team gets that type of guy everything opens up. Also, historically speaking we've never had much luck picking up FA receivers. And I agree that Higgins will probably command too much for Ballard's liking unless he's cheaper than Pittman.
  10. The other risk is that he could get injured again. And at that point I don't know what Ballard would do. Keeping Taylor or letting him go could be a negative to a lot of fans regardless of the choice. So essentially, let's hope and pray Taylor stays healthy and just plays well.
  11. You're good, I could feel the conversation was mostly you just seeing how others are feeling. I've learned you don't often have ulterior motives on here (some will probably disagree with me), just trying to spark discussion.
  12. Personally? I'd wait until December. If Taylor's presence on the field is enough for us to be in the playoff hunt or even winning the division, then sure go ahead and pay him. But if we're hovering around .500 by Christmas time... Then unfortunately I'd be looking on to next season and making some difficult choices.
  13. As a Bengals fan, I'd actually rather us not. Tee isn't a true #1 WR. And I hate saying that because I love the dude. But he's not a consistent week in and week out crucial catch kind of guy. He disappears for lengths of games. We need a true #1 that can take over a game when it's a necessity.
  14. Yeah are we talking after one game? I mean I guess if he goes off on the Titans for like 200 yards and we win big then maybe? I would guess Ballard will wait until the end of this month if not next to see.

  16. So do we feel like it'll be a corner that we go after 1st round if Harrison Jr. is gone? Whoever we pick needs to have an immediate impact on the team. No delayed gratification. We need at least two straight years of excellent draft picks to help the team. Think of '98-2003. In those years, we got Manning, Edge, Wayne, Clark, and Freeney. That's picking game changers year after year who made immediate impacts and were crucial to the team's success.
  17. It’s really sounding like he’s planning to stay and take the NIL.
  18. Thanks @Solid84! Reminds me of @EastStreet’s old posts.
  19. Dear God... a Bears Thursday night game? Is it too much to ask for a decent matchup? Why not toss the Cowboys in there instead of a Sunday night game for once? I'll make my picks tomorrow morning. Waiting to see about some injuries across the league.
  20. Video evidence of a ref standing right in the end zone and watching a facemask penalty happen, and proceeding to do nothing about it. I don’t want to hear Ravens fans complaining after that.
