I'd rather it be Reggie than a back up running back or Gronkowski or any of the other Patriots who have crushed us the last 4 straight years. You're preaching team loyalty, I am being loyal to the non-guilty party involved. Just because you're happy to toss Reggie out with the Garbage (while we mull over Duron Carter and Griff Whalen and that other sad sack instead? ack). Reggie might have been 4th. He also might have been #2 again now that he's not injured. The truth is they didn't even let him come to camp to show what he had. If he couldn't cut it, THEN it would have been understandable. But they gave him no choice.
No need to be a drama queen...calm down and count to ten. Everything will be OK...I promise.

. Lol. I know you don't believe any of this.
As for RG3, I still don't get why he is hated so much here. I am around Giants fans all the time. One would believe they would dislike RG3 because he plays in their division but they don't talk about him. I just checked their official message board. This same topic started on Aug 17th received 2 replies. In one of the 2 replies, a Giants fan wrote that he wants his QB to say the same thing.
I don't think anyone actually "hates" RG3. I think it's more of a "I told you so" attitude toward him and his fans due to the comparisons to Luck when they first came out. Mainly because of people like Skip Bayless... It's a natural reaction when people put down something that's yours in favor of theirs. I don't think it's that big of a deal and really don't get why YOU care so much about what some on this forum think of RG3.

it has been said we had no intrest and I believe it with Grigson
Well that's kind of weird...do you have a quote from Grigson saying that? I'm not doubting you, just wondering. Did he say he didn't because he's happy with what we have now? It really surprises me just because of the whole Philly connection.
I'm willing to wait and see what a healthy, well jelled o-line can do.
I hope between Luck's growth/getting rid of the ball faster along with the upgrades at running back will help the o-line.

actually none of us have said that but a top 5 guard just signed for less the Donald's worthless *
How do you know he wanted to play here? Didn't they say he turned down a 5 mil deal only to sign for Denver for less?

There is a downside to being handsome or drop dead gorgeous though: Sooner or later physical attractiveness declines rapidly over time & we average joe's look good because if you've always been basement material there's no lower to go & women know exactly what their getting in return. Plus, there's no ivory tower long flight of steps to walk up either because basement guys have no ego &, if you marry us, it automatically qualifies as jury duty & community service. Oh yeah, our humor is priceless because we sure as hades know if our jokes don't seal the deal our looks aren't gonna save us, but I digress...
That's my take on it anyway. Drop dead gorgeous in either sex usually = high maintenance...Something you wanna stay as far away from as humanly possible. JMO. Yes, there is a rare exception that defies the rule sometimes, but it's pretty scarce in my experience. Okay, I'll shut up now.
Sorry for the diversion folks. Back on topic...

How many teams have stud offensive lines? There is Dallas and...who else? Serious question because I really don't pay attention to other teams lines that much. Do stud offensive lineman grow on trees? I don't know...
-
Meh, I didn't even know he was still in the league.

Let me splain it to you. It is really quite simple.
Be loyal to your veterans and give them a shot to comeback from injury. The players believe in and appreciate that.
If you don`t have it... well...
If Ballard is cut the guys you are whining about have a shot to make the roster or the practice squad and to be ready as the next man up.
Gore has $3M guaranteed for 2016 so he is expected to be good for at least 2 seasons.
Boom can run anywhere.
The kid breaks tackles and falls forward. And does a fine job anticipating/finding small holes. That IS actually special. A winner.
Get a grip on it.
I was thinking the same thing about Boom. If he can cut down on the fumbles he would be a pretty darn good back.
-
That's because people want patriot like results.
The Patriots have won one SuperBowl in the past 10 years.
-
Must be. Someone tells those dummies in Seattle, New England, Baltimore, Green Bay, Pittsburgh and Dallas that they're doing it wrong.
(It's ironic seeing who liked your post.)
Hehe.

Same year he broke his jaw
Man, time flies. I thought it was b more recent than that.
-
Not much of a roller coaster. The only losing seasons Manning's colts had were his rookie yr and the year he broke his jaw.
I think you're missing the Jim Mora "Playoffs?...Playoffs?" year. Was it 2001 they went 6-10 or something like that? I could be wrong...too lazy right now to use google....

yes I would, but not just any veteran, a gm has to have the ability to recognize talent at a good price like the great hoodie does, even though I don't like hoodie he has the ability to get above average talent and stay in cap as a good gm should
So how and where do we get one of these hoodies? Is there a hoodie store that sells at wholesale?
Also, the great goodie doesn't trade draft picks for vets, in fact, it's the other way around. Dude stock piles draft picks.
-
Didn't you once say you'd trade all your draft picks for veteran players?
Building teams through the draft is overrated.
-
They don't call Andrew Luck "Ole Noodle Arm" for nothin'...

Instead of comparing Manning's greatest teammates and coaches during various times of his 15 yrs as a Colt vs Luck's 1st 3 years should we only use Mannings first 3 years? I'm not saying your wrong I guess I just don't get the point of the comparison. Are you saying Luck is better because he's doing more with less? Are you saying Grigson isn't surrounding Luck with as good of a team as Polian did for Peyton? What's the point?

15-1 then 1 and done by last second FG to eventual SB champs.
13-3 lose AFC Championship by 2 TDs to Pitt.
9-7 wildcard lose AFC Championship to NE by way of last second hail Mary to Wayne.
19-0 SuperBowl Champs...Best Team Ever!
Who gets fired in each of these senerios?
-
Probably.
Have you ever had Whoopie pies? My wife make them...deeeeeliciouoso!
-
Actually....... You get credit for winning
This team has won.... Last I looked, they improved every year the last 3 years
One game from the SB.......
When you win.... you get the benefit of the doubt........
This front office deserves the benefit of the doubt
They have made some good decisions and they have made some bad ones....
(Please show me a front office that has been perfect in every decision)
Rehashing and continuing the shoulda coulda woulda stuff, from 3 years ago....(Like we are all some great talent evaluators) .....without at least recognizing the successes is a little bit one sided, dont you think?
There are 26 (or so) other teams that wish that they had OUR........ HORRIBLE problems.............
Didn't you know? 31 teams have HOFers at every position except the Colts!
-
How does that fix the tackle position? Mathis is a guard
It doesnt.
-
He looks Good.
That's because he is Good.

Yeah maybe AJ is that key 3rd down possession receiver & maybe he'll come up big & have a great connection with Luck, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised to see Reggie finish the season with more rec & yrds than AJ...
Maybe I'm just going through the stages of grief dealing with the news of Reggie signing with the pats...
I hear ya but realistically Johnson is a bigger bodied version of "3-4 years ago Reggie".
Also, have you seen what AJ has done with crap QBs his whole career? I don't see how our O could flop this year...gonna be fun.
-
So then I guess you BLAME Reggie and hope he fails miserably? Nice and gripless.
How did you come to that conclusion from her reply?
-
Anyone angry at Reggie for trying to get a job and finish his career on his own timetable needs to get a grip. The Colts kicked him to the curb. Brutally. After he was willing to sacrifice the end of his career to help Pagano and the Colts when they were down and out 2-14. Consider this: If he'd said NO.. and signed with New England, who WANTED him even then, he'd have another Super Bowl ring and likely would be a LOCK for the Hall of Fame and the Colts would not have had 3 11 win seasons at this point. If you want to be angry, hate Irsay, Grigson and Pagano who are 100% to blame (and frankly we will have inferior receivers on the team instead of a Hall of Famer finishing out as a Colt who is way better than anyone not in the top 4 on our team, even when he was injured). I hope Reggie score 4 touchdowns on us.
At this point in his career Reggie would be our 4th-5th recievers at best.
And why do you want him to score 4 tds against us? And please don't say us...a fan doesn't root for an ex player to destroy his own team...
RG3 says hes the best QB in the league

Ah, the old "your post is silly" answer. Fair enough, but to answer your question...I was just curious about your borderline obsessive behavior (posts) on the subject. I wondered if there was a back story on all the whining you've been doing in this thread. My guess is you get your jollies by telling Colts fans what bad people they are...in other words trolling. Whatever floats your boat...carry on.
