I disagree with his strategy. Most people outside of this forum do as well. But for some reason voicing disagreement or disappointment is tantamount to blasphemy around here. People just make snarky replies and post gifs/emojis in an attempt to grab likes or something.

Some of y'all should sue your brain for non support...the contract is ridiculously high...is he even a top 5 center in football? I would probably not have him in the top 10.. and he is now the highest paid...
We either overpay to protect Andrew or we go bargain bin shopping for scrubs. We already have scrubs.
This wasn't our last opportunity, but Ballard is gonna have to pony up at some point.

Serenity now..

Annnnd gone.
Better get Pugh.

I don't understand why everyone forgets about him. Not his fault he got Pagano'd. Hopefully he tears it up this year.

He wanted us to pay extra? What in the world?

Trying? I'll pick him up myself.

Grant is a JAG, which is fine, but we sure as hell better not give him anywhere near the contract Baltimore was going to give him.

Perusing Lions forums..
Their main concerns were drops and attitude (don't know the details on that). Apparently he has been inconsistent but started coming on in the latter half of last season. I think they are down on him more than they should be because he was a bust relative to his draft position and who went directly after him. Still a good player though.

Sounds good to me.

Before today, have you ever heard of Ryan Jensen?
What does that matter?

Um maybe I'm thinking of someone else, but isn't Fluker atrocious?
Edit: I think it was someone else. There was someone constantly drawing the ire of Giants fans and I thought it was Fluker. But I just checked and they seem to want to keep him around.

Because he is undersized as a LB prospect I don't see him going top 10. To me, he is expected to be drafted top 20 at best. If Ballard made a deal with the Bills, he could be had with the 22nd overall pick in my opinion. Or at least right around that spot. The 12th pick should then be used to try and get Quenton Nelson.
Nelson at 12 and Roquan at 22... in what universe? These are two of the best players in this class.
I'd take Roquan top 10 without hesitation.

Not super enticing but he's still serviceable. Anything to avoid yet another pressing draft need.

But how is it obvious?
Have you watched both players? I am assuming probably not?
So most of us are just trusting the hype surrounding these free agent linemen.
So we have to have a film study for every player in the league to know how good they are? No, we can rely on trusted sources and the fanbase of the player's team. All signs point to Jensen being a quality starter.

@SolidGold pm'd me his pick for the Redskins - Azeem Victor, ILB, Washington. @BProland85 is otc.
Lies, I am on the clock.
The Packers select Auden Tate, WR. I think he was a 2nd round pick until he timed so poorly. Mid 4th seems appropriate now. Good compliment to Cobb and Adams.
Now @BProland85 is on the clock.

According to Bucs reporters he hasn't left yet. They are trying to get him signed.
That worries me If we don't land either Jensen or Pugh... well, that'll suck.

Thanks for your super-helpful informative opinion/response!
I think my point has been made...
That you're being an * for no reason?

If he shows himself in TC, preseason and practice then he'll playing time. Right now we really only have Sheard as a viable Leo for the new defense. Basham is a question mark. Simon is a questionable fit...will more likely play SAM. We needed more than just one DE.
But no WAY would I avoid signing a potentially productive DE just to make sure Basham gets his shot.
Has the coaching staff mentioned their plan for Simon? I had been assuming he'd play opposite Sheard.

I asked a Raiders fan if Autry was any good:
"He was and has been the team's best interior pass rusher for the last 3 or so years. That said, the Raiders have had virtually no interior pass rush for the past 3 seasons. He's a rotational starter on the inside only. Some have projected him as a base end in a 4-3, but he hasn't played there."

Well 1) I'm sure many have heard of him before and 2) what makes you think we won't get to see how Basham does int he 4-3?
Well prior to the draft I saw Basham as exclusively a 4-3 DE so I was looking forward to seeing how he did. This can only limit his opportunities. Again, not really complaining, more of a personal thing.
-
No idea who this is but I'll give him a chance. But honestly I'd rather just see how Basham does in the 4-3 than sign some guy none of us have heard of.
