  1. No, thank you. We have so many needs. I believe he will be picked in the first 10 or so picks in the 2nd round.
  2. Lamar Jackson did (averaged 57% in college, which is considered low). He has been over 63% in the NFL. He is a good example of someone whose accuracy improved in the NFL.
  3. Someone posted an article that I read on the Athletic that showed that he would throw perfectly thrown passes that were dropped by receivers.
  4. I hope the fans will give him time and keep an open mind. There are fans who have said that he does not fit the profile of their ideal QB. He may win in a different manner but if you win the Super Bowl, that is what matters. I think he can bring a Super Bowl to Indy.
  5. I never looked at it that way but I get it. Being a middling player is analogous to indifference (as in 'Indifference is worse than hate"). It is like having Kirk Cousins. We can't win with him but fans think he is too good to replace.
  6. I have a weird memory. I remembered that you said you lived in or near Kansas City. Lol. Glad to have you back. We missed you during the Gavin mock draft.
  7. All my favorite people are back! Hi @Colt.45 I missed you. Did you get to attend in person yesterday?
  8. That is right. I hate reading these all or nothing comments where everyone is all bad. I think those are lazy comments that do not involve a lot of thought.
  9. Enjoy! My maternal grandfather's side of the family was from a town near there. My cousins on my mom's side and my siblings hope to take a trip there all together (12 to 15 of us). Lots of folks have taken breaks from here. @dgambill told us yesterday that he had taken a break because of the negativity. Glad to have you both back. More people means more opinions/thoughts/ideas and that makes the forum even better.
  10. Glad to see you. I thought to mention you yesterday but decided against it. What are your thoughts on your draft pick?
  11. I really like this pick for the Colts after listening to Richardson. He reminds me a bit of Bryce Young in demeanor -- seems confident but humble, and in control of his emotions. He is young and seems eager to learn and win. Young head coach and young QB should make fans optimistic. I am looking forward to seeing how they both succeed.
  12. This is great. He sounds humble and genuine. He does not sound scripted and he seems comfortable answering questions. I don't know much about him but I am rooting for him.
  13. That's a good point. This back and forth on this matter shows how different people hearing/reading the same quote may interpret or perceive it differently. I will give the coach the benefit of the doubt but I understand how Blue Shoe could see that in the way that he does.

  15. Lol. I was feeling the same for my team. Every pick until 23 was torture. Lol. I had read that if he drops, we might even trade up for him. SMH. Some of our most knowledgeable football fans said if that happened they would lose confidence in the current regime. These fans did not believe Levis should be our pick; however, when SB Nation did the draft, our writer selected Levis at 23. It was not a popular pick with most. Levis may go early tonight -- maybe to the Rams. Or Tennessee. We might draft a QB tonight.
  16. You did not join us during the draft. Were you pleased with the selection?
  17. That is what I think. I recall when the Vikes had Teddy -- the total opposite of Richardson -- we traded for a vertical receiver (Mike Wallace) and I could not understand why. He needed possession receivers and we should have kept Greg Jennings Richardson would do well with a Mike Wallace type. Richardson reminds me a bit of Daunte Culpepper but much more athletically gifted than Pep. Richardson to a Randy Moss type would shatter TD records.
  18. I think he would benefit from more WR help. I wonder if the Colts would be interested in trading for Jalen Reagor. He may be a good it for Richardson. His dad played for the Colts. You can get him for a 6th or 7th round pick.
  19. That's great! He is very young and seems humble. You cannot reach athleticism!
  20. What would have been a disaster? Missing out on Richardson? Drafting Levis? Drafting another player? Serious question.
  21. They will be great. I am a big fan of Howie Roseman. Joe Douglas is from the Philly system. He has turned around the Jets in just a few years. They have had some great draft picks recently. How do you like the newest addition to the Colts?
  22. That's true. Did he really say that? Maybe he meant that in a particular context.
