CJ Stroud looks really good. His throws are crisp. He has 6 TDs and no INTs, but those are just stats. He looks good.

 

I did not see Richardson much today but when I did see him, he looked very poised as usually. I feel good about him.

 

I still like Young but he has not played as well.

 

O'Connell and Darion Thompson-Robinson started today but they did not play well in their debuts. They probably were not expecting to start.

In the game thread, I put up a poll of how many receiving yards Puka Nacua may have. I did that because I thought some folks may not know who he is or how well he has played this year. He has broken records as a rookie WR.

Thank you. They had to. Losing to the Panthers would have been the end of the season. The Panthers are bad. I expected more from them.

Roseman did not hit on Reagor (1st rd) and Arcega-Whiteside (2nd round). What is great about Roseman is that he quickly moves on from bad draft picks regardless of where they were drafted. I like Roseman a lot.

O'Connell is the younger cousin of the Vikings head coach. He looked pretty good in preseason.

Yes I know people are banged up but Richardson is the starter and starters play in the NFL regardless of injuries around them.

 

I'm just wondering what the fan base is thinking. At the beginning of the year, some here said that the team should start Minshew and let this be a redshirt year for Richardson.

The Athletic has updated the story. It says Njoku will play.

I don't have ESPN plus but I have NFL+.

 

On my phone, I am able to go from one app to another without turning any of them off. They stay active in the background. However, if I do that with the NFL+ app without first closing out the NFL+ app, it prevents me from accessing other apps. I had to restart my phone to get back on this site. I don't like that about the NFL+ app. I have to figure out why it does that. I like the option of going from one app to another without having to close them.

I read that Watson had some injury last week but had been expected to start. I wonder if Njoku will start? Apparently he suffered burns on his face and hands but could play. The problem is that the helmet over his face is uncomfortable because he is recovering from the burns.

I have had a SMART TV for about 10 years now. After the first month of using the SMART feature, I have not used it again. I wonder if I can use NFL+ on this TV. If not, I will continue to watch on this phone.
