I’ve not seen any polls in a while

I wonder why. You do not see the poll immediately above the opening post here???

I thought perhaps it was an issue with your settings but I looked at all possible settings but I do not see an option to disable or enable polls. It is strange that you don't see it.

Bold prediction: Vikings beat Chiefs. I'm not confident in this, but am going with it anyway.

    That is BOLD.

I hope the Swifties are prevented from entering the stadium. haha  Folks who know nothing about football are now watching the Chiefs to see the popular singer. I wonder how long that lasts.

With the exception of the obvious paid off refs in KC, the season has been fun to watch across the board. Even the bad afc south is standing toe to toe with their counterparts.

Yep. This must have been posted in another thread but McVay praised Richardson a lot. He saw what I see in Richardson -- a guy with great poise and plays well under pressure.

    Quote

McVay expressed his admiration for the Colts for their ability to battle back from a 23-0 third quarter deficit, which he said came in large part because of quarterback Anthony Richardson.

"To be able to say you're

down 23 nothing and then to be able to lead your team on 23 straight points, three scoring drives, two of which you needed two-point conversions to keep the game alive, you gotta give the guy credit," McVay said.

While McVay saw his athleticism on film, he said what really impressed him on Sunday was the way he was able to stay calm under pressure.

"I thought even just to watch him string together a lot of good plays and he was able to create some things off schedule," McVay said. "I thought the two seams that he completed in the pocket, he makes the go ball down the sidelines to [Alec] Pierce - you could just feel the athleticism, the composure, I thought he played with pretty good poise."

McVay has high praise for Richardson

    Have you WATCHED him play?

that doesn't excite you. even the dang tiniest bit???? C'mon man

He is very fun to watch. I don't know how a Colts fan could not be happy with what they have seen from him. He is poised. He looks to throw first unless the call is for a designed run. And he is so young. I am so impressed.

There are some who will always complain. I usually don't take their posts seriously. No one should.

Like the price at Met life stadium. 5 dollar is almost like a beer in the stadium of my favorite soccer club.... Or exact the amount of a vine spritzer (0,5 litres). That's what I use to drink there living in a vine area and is pretty common to drink here. Even in the stadium. (but it makes you drunk even faster, so beware!)

That cannot be accurate. I go to at least one game a year at Met Life to a Giants game and although I don't drink beer, I buy one or two for my friend. They do not cost $5. Lol. Or, I have not been to the $5/beer concession stand yet.

    This articlebelow seems more accurate.

Beer and food overall are inexpensive at Falcons games in Atlanta.

My Dad died in a plane crash, when I was 13 years old, it just shows how family's lives can change in an instant, if you are well known are not. something to keep in mind how quick life can change. so, cherish the day.

I'm sorry to hear that. May he continue to rest in peace.

Richardson has surprised but that shouldn't be the scale to judge other rookie QBs at this point.

What Young goes through is normal for every rookie QB, even for a good one. For A team that traded #1 WR and draft picks to draft him, after trading league's #1 RB the previous year, that doesn't have any explosive player, Young also is going through ups and downs but it's normal on a rookie year.

Richardson is very different for sure... no wonder he didn't want to play anymore in college after just 13 games :D

That's true about Young. I think he will get better. He is a smart kid and I think his QB coach will help to make him better. (I am a huge believer in Josh McCown.)

Stroud and Richardson are playing better than expected. I like Richardson a lot because he is gifted yet humble. He plays with a  lot of poise. I'm looking forward to seeing how the other quarterbacks do too. O'Connell and Thompson-Robinson debuted last week. I don't think Levis and H. Hooker will be playing soon. Levis will probably play before Hooker.

young is ahead of ar in passing yards

Watching both of them play, Richardson is clearly playing better, regardless of the stats.

If you’d told me before the season that through 4 games that AR would only have 1 INT, I’d said you were drinking too much,

Yep, I think Peyton Manning did too. He said he was hoping that his record for Interceptions by a rookie would be broken this year. I recall thinking that Richardson won't throw it enough to break the record. I think Richardson is playing well and does not look lost out there. He shows poise.

It's all good.  titans report is a mad house, you will hear all kinds of stuff there and civil is the last word I would use to describe it if any of you visit. Appreciation of dark humor and thick skin is a must, short of racism you almost can't be banned.

I just thought it was funny that's what he took away considering the meltdown the place has been in. Idk about go titans our other forum.

Thanks for letting me know. I won't be checking it out. We don't want that here.

Will Tannehill be the starter this coming week? I wonder when Levis will start. He was popular here before the draft.

Hey proland, I thought you were just a troll account on our board not legit 😂.

Idk what you are talking about us thinking we are the kings of the south. Before the season it was mixed, some thought we were and some thought it would be a slug fest with Jacksonville.

Before Sunday most of our board was ready to throw the whole team in the garbage and start Willis or Levis to see what we have, so hardly the level of cockyness you are describing

I would not worry about that too much. All fans accuse other fans of cockiness. The folks here are pretty civil.

I'll be checking out ladies and gents. Had fun on this thread for most of the year until September hit. At least the Reds managed to barely scrape out an over .500 season. Not really much to celebrate at the end though. I've been burned too many times as a fan to expect much to change next season. We'll probably trade and lose players for random AAA kids who'll never work out.

I just can't watch the Dodgers and other big money teams walk into the playoffs yet again. It's getting old. So, for now, I bid thee all a fond farewell from the baseball thread.

I have not followed all year. I did not like signing all those high-priced players. I like winning with youth and players we develop.

    Do you expect Votto back?

I wouldn't bet on the run game to much, we have given up Less than 3ypc over our last 18games. Always a shot tho last year's season opener Barkley had a huge game.

We are banged up as always. I won't even guess who we will have back or will be out at this point.

Also first time iv logged in on my new phone and I love your board sent me an email saying I did it from Jacksonville 😂

    Welcome.
