If I find out it's the Patriots doing this, I will raise hell like you've never seen it before, and trust me, you don't want to see my version of hell.
-
lol I knew someone would make this:
-
You forgot about Tom Brady being traded.

You might be right but after the combine results. I bet the Browns or Giants won't pass up Barkley now. We need OL help too, however I don't see us grabbing Nelson at #3.
Right now, Barkley is like the media darling of the combine; usually that role would be fulfilled by a QB. Unfortunately for the Colts, this is an awkward draft to take a QB. You know the QB draft class is bad when the best choice is being compared to Johnny Manziel!
I suspect the QB's will slide down, and would be absolutely shocked if the Browns took one with pick #1, and I'm beginning to wonder if they'll even take one at #4.

If I were the Browns, I'd trade down because they can't be trusted to make a pick. They always screw it up. Better to roll the dice on multiple players then trust their inept scouting department.

Finally, something OT Orlando Brown might be good at?... Nah. -
What's in your binder?
-
That entire room was pumped up. The energy was electric. Way to go, Shaquem! Now how many reps did OT Orlando Bloom get?... 14.

I think the Browns and Giants pick QBs 1-2....
..and the Browns must pick a QB at '1' BECAUSE the Giants will pick a QB at '2'
After watching more video, I feel the exact opposite. Remember, the Browns also get to pick at #4, so they need to ask themselves who they think the GIants or Colts will take. There's no way the Colts are taking a QB, and there's no way the Giants will either, as I feel Pat Shurmur made that clear in his Combine interview that they're committed to Eli, and a 1st round QB selection I feel would add too much drama in the Giants locker room. That is Eli's team.
It's certainly possible there's a trade-up, but I think the Browns will play the odds and assume a QB is available to them at #4, so in my opinion, it will be:
#1 Browns -- Barkley
#2 Giants -- Not a QB
#3 Colts -- O-line or D-Line
#4 Browns -- QB -

Lol that be the worst case scenerio. Real worst case is if browns take barkley first giants take chubb
I hadn't thought of that, but in my opinion, I don't think Barkley wants to play for the Browns based on my impressions of the interviews. I could be reading too much into it, but I don't think the Browns are going to take him if they know he'd rather play in New York, his hometown.

WERNER, no!!!! that is not Chubb at all. Werner types only come around once every few years and are only drafted by over-rated GMs that act bigger than the draft room. Werner was a lemon, a Trent Richardson. He came as a nasty curve-ball and we swung and missed.
You know a GM is making a bad 1st round signing when the guy doesn't even speak native English.

Okay, I hate to say, but I'm going to backtrack and make the call: The Giants are going to draft Barkley. I'm seeing a lot of hints from interviews, not to mention the impressive Combine lifted Barkley's stock higher than what it already was.
At the Combine, Barkley, when asked who he interviewed with, quickly mentioned the Giants, then paused a long time before listing a tangent of other teams (including the Colts). Funny enough, he forgot to list the Browns, which probably speaks volumes who Barkley likes.
Barkley's dad has a favorite team -- the New York Jets. His dad even has a Jets tattoo. Barkley has admitted he also is a Jets fan, but laughs and says he's now neutral. Barkley grew up in the Bronx in New York. You know what other team is in New York?... Exactly.
Giants HC, Pat Shurmer, hinted he wanted a "generational player." He also was very adamant the Giants were sticking with Eli. I agree with this decision, and after last season's benching debacle I can't imagine their organization would throw fuel onto the fire by drafting a QB in the 1st round. This also doesn't sound like a team that wants to trade down, based on their history at making this selection.I would be absolutely shocked if the Giants don't take Barkley.

I would love for the PI rule to be changed, because it reverses a lot of what makes the Patriots a good team. Belichick likes to use an oversized receiver, such as Gronk, because you have to be more physical with them when contending against passes. It forces the CB into a lose-lose situation, because either they're too physical and they get the pass interference, or they're not physical enough and give up a pass completion. The result is the same, and the Patriots know this.
The only way it's not a lose-lose is if Brady puts the ball in a bad spot or has a miscommunication with a teammate, but that rarely happens.
-
I think he will be available at #3. The Browns and Giants I just don't see taking a RB. The Browns need help at QB, and I know every season they draft one and it doesn't work out, but if you don't have a QB, then there's not much else left, so they're just going to have to keep trying.
-
He was the face of the modern RB; great pass catcher AND a tough versatile runner.

It's ironic we're waving bye to Gore as Luck comes back. Imagine if we were to win the Superbowl. Frank Gore would be going crazy. Not saying we will, but hey, anything can happen in football.

Okay, two points:
1.) Apparently, it's called the Josh McDaniels Rule, so I think that's hilarious Josh McDaniels will be the face of this type of behavior going forward. Regardless, if the rule isn't changed, owners are probably going to ask potential coaches going forward, "Are you going to pull a 'Josh McDaniels' on us?" Not exactly the type of behavior I'd want my name attached to.
2.) This is the second time recently when a rule had to be quickly addressed the following off-season. This happened earlier when the Patriots took advantage of the Baltimore Ravens in the playoff game with the linemen eligible receiver shenanigans. I wonder if New England could please stop forcing the rules to keep being revised like this. It's in bad integrity. It's like those Air Bud movies where the ref says, "There's no rule saying a dog can't play basketball." Well, that's true, but can we stop it anyways? k thx. -
If Trent Richardson were still here, he could have coached him on the art of going on a diet.

He must have made a pretty good impression during that internship! Reich must have added him to his "binder" back then!
There can be only ONE binder, and you don't simply add to the binder; the binder adds to you.

That's great. Err, wait, why were you looking up his daughters, and more importantly, what are their age and measurements?

No way of knowing. Only he can answer that, considering it's health related. My issue is the Buffalo weather isn't exactly going to be kind to him, so I don't know what he thinks going from an indoor stadium to an outdoor blizzard is going to do for his career.

I think that's normal, though. I went to the combine a year or two ago. Most coaches for teams are sitting in their own box along the wall. However, there was one coach sitting in the seats about 20 rows up. Guess who it was? ..... Bill Belichick.
If Bill attends, I bet he will love answering all of Josh's questions for him. Josh is such a nice guy. I mean, just look at him:
Don't you just want to pinch those little cheeks?
-
That team needs all the help they can get. Lost their DC, all their backup QB's, a QB who can't catch, OC is confused. It's all a mess.
-
I actually don't mind Belichick now. I just hate that McDingleberry guy they have as their OC. I can't wait to see the look on his face when the Pats tell him they're going in a different direction at head coach.
Take me in the mind of a Jarvis Landry.
