Cleveland Browns:

I saw that Belichick was at Georgia's pro day. What Georgia player is he trying to keep the Colts from getting?
That was just a ruse. He's calling up teams telling them all the QB's suck. He says to go heavy on o-line/d-line picks, but to make an exception for Barkley because he looks bad in blue. I can only assume one thing: Belichick thinks Barkley is going to be a cop.

Belichick: "Not really."
Mewhort: "Not even just a little?"
Belichick: "Well, sure, for $1."

Such manly names: Bond, Fabiano, GLOWinski, and a guy so good that his name is Good. -

Speaking of paranoia, I hope they put Belichick on a madden cover so he is out for the season.
Thank god Brady was on the cover so he injured his thumb. Did you see the size of that gruesome cut? That Superbowl came down to a few plays, so you never know.
-
That would be funny if Belichick singles out Chubb, Nelson, and Barkley, while saying all the quarterbacks suck. Then the paranoia is confirmed.

He's also the most luckiest player with him entering the NFL before the rookie wage scale went into effect.

Imagine hooker with an amazing pass rusher like chubb pressuring the QB to throw it early.
With Ndamukong Suh.

I watched Him single handily destroy my Hurricanes when he was at UNC. He still talented! I wouldn't him.
Yea, but Al Bundy torched people when he was young, so you never know once they get to the NFL.

Jokes on them when we sign Ndamukong Suh and Blount. Here comes the REAL monster!!!

Sounds like Andrew Luck jargon for "he will be ready next season."

Blunt and Mack now that would be a good combo
Yea, he's basically a better Frank Gore at this point, and 3 years younger. Instant upgrade, and he did come from the Eagles, so he should find some common ground with Frank Reich.
Only problem is we can't be guaranteed Barkley in the draft, so I think signing him would close the door on Barkley, but maybe open the door for Chubb.

So Schefter just tweeted this, making it sound a little less certain than the couple tweets in the OP. The lions are at least in consideration anyway
OMG, Blount is on the market again!? I swear if the Pats resign him, I'm throwing up. How much more does that guy have to prove before teams realize he deserves guaranteed top money?

He's a very Ballard-like signing. Played all 16 games the past 2 seasons, started 3 last season.
Just wait until he plays on our turf and gets injured game one.

I find it funny Joe trash talked Richard Sherman before Joe retired. Guess he figured if he was leaving, he might as well get a jab in on someone.
-
OMG, are we getting Pat McAfee!? YESS!!! YESS!! I KNEW IT!
But seriously, who are we getting? -

I tend to believe that the browns are going to take Barkley with the 1st pick and still get the top QB at 4. Just my opinion but it would make it easier for whoever they take at 4 because they won't have the pressure of being the 1st overall pick in the draft. It will give the Browns more leeway to develop the QB and not have to immediately throw him to the wolves.
If I were the Colts, I'd be tempted to call up the Browns and say, "If you take our guy, Barkley, at #1, then we're going to trade down to a team who wants a QB and you're going to lose out on your guy when you pick at #4." Sure, it's a threat, but it's a dog eat dog world on Draft Day.
Of course it's possible the Giants pick Barkley so... uhh, I hope Ballard's binder has nude Eli photos.
-
I don't buy it at all. This is a ruse. The other teams are probably grilling the Browns over the phone, saying, "We all know you won't take a QB at #1 when you're sitting on a #4, and this crop of QB's isn't that good anyways, so we'd rather just trade with the Colts or Giants and save 1st overall money."
This hurts the value of the #1 pick, so now the Browns are just like, "You know what, fine, screw it. You all had your chance. Now we're taking a QB at #1." The Browns don't really mean it though. You know it's bad when the presumed #1 QB on the board is getting Johnny Manziel comparisons. -
If the Colts signed him, he'd want to be the exclusive RB and wouldn't be happy having Luck throw the ball. We saw AP's temper tantrum in the Saints game. AP's head has gotten super swollen.
-
I thought teams were required to announce the details of trades, unless you're saying this is a type of Josh McDaniels thing where they are signing a non-agreement, in which case the Bills are playing a dangerous game.

He was very strong in the one area the Pats front 7 were awful.. against the run. Foles didn’t beat the Pats Ajay and Blunt did..
I don't know about that. What about that catch Foles made? Or the gutsy 4th down call for that TD? Or that 4th down call late in the game that would have lost them the game had they not completed the pass?
I'm just saying Foles played a huge role in also beating the Pats. It's not like he was just handing it off to the RB's all game long.

Lol OP I love the thread title. I think most people here probably didn't get the reference, so let's go inside the mind of a Greg Jennings...
***the language in this video is VERY nsfw! don't watch if you don't want to hear vulgar language
Jarvis Landry must learn to run with two broken legs if he hopes to win with the Browns.

Well it's the Browns, so it's not supposed to make sense.

The worst part from what I read is Josh McDaniels was the one who was seeking out a head coaching position in the first place! The Colts did not reach out to him to BECOME a head coach; they reached out to him because he put the request in himself!
And, of course, Josh did not one, but TWO sitdown interviews that by all indications suggested he was on-board with the Colts.
Ironically, he settled for being an OC, so basically he just wasted everyone's time and used the Colts as leverage to increase his position with NE.
