Some would mark today's waivers as a bit of a "tribute" to the mistakes Chris Ballard has made over the years:

DE Terrell Basham (2017 3rd round) waived by Buffalo

DB Nate Hairston (2017 5th round) waived by Arizona

DE Kemoko Turay (2018 2nd round) waived by Atlanta

WR Daurice Fountain (2018 5th round) waived by Chicago

RB Jordan Wilkins (2018 5th round) waived by Detroit (I think)

WR Deon Cain (2018 6th round) waived by Philadelphia

DE Ben Banogu (2019 2nd round) waived by Dallas

T Julien Davenport (2021 free agent) waived by NY Giants

T Dennis Kelly (2022 free agent) waived by Philadelphia

    And that's just today's news.

that is a lot of ballard busts!!!!

I do feel that if this relationship is going to be salvaged Ballard will be able to do that. Maybe Shane too.

If anyone can do it, it’s Ballard

ballard let this situtation get out of hand , he should fix it asap, that is what he is getting paid for.

Watching a few talking heads this afternoon….

There are a few teams that a player like JT MIGHT put that team into the Super Bowl

    Miami, Dallas, Buffalo, Chargers, Baltimore

These fan bases have waited a long time to reach the big game

JT is at or near his peak…Today

The Colts are NOT near their peak, we probably will not be there next year either…..

The “math” averages say that a RB loses that edge year 5-6.

JT may be sooner as he had a ton of carry’s  in college

I am coming around to the fact that the Colts may be OK  2-3 years from now if we use the pick or picks wisely from a JT trade

ballard has a bad history with draft picks, his win loss record says it all

He is the owner and he can do what he want. I am not in love with Ballard, but it just under cuts Ballard's influence on making tough decisions. It looks to the NFL and media that Irsay is in charge and not Ballard. Irsay needs to let Ballard sink or swim this season. I doubt Ballard is loving this situation

ballard likes the money, with his win loss record he cant expect elite players to want to work for him. rbs have a short career and taylor  knows there is no chance for a superbowl with the colts as long as ballard is here,
