imo gus will see his failures and start some different looks against the raiders on defense. shane will plan a different attack plan to beat the raiders d. this game is where our coaches will come into play and be a factor in the outcome even if the raiders have better talent.

i know trevor is hurt but he is not living up to the hype the media put on him, when stroud comes back the texans will be the best in our division imo

most teams have vet cbs and bring their rookies along slowly. ballard must have thought the rookies were as good as vets. ballard must think we have above average talent on defense or he would not have went with the guys who are starting.

Not saying he’s the same as Mahomes but if you get a guy that is challenged as a rookie and has a speedster like Tyreek drafted, and they dare him to throw, you make them pay till they put their safeties back.
When Steichen got A J Brown to go with DeVonta Smith and Goedert in the middle, he went to town. Give him some groceries. Even the best play caller needs groceries.

Even after 3 years I would expect Jared to put Freeland on the bench. He’s only 36. If we make the playoffs we could face some serious ER’s.
