  1. Right now, it appears that there is a list with one name on it, Jim Caldwell. Seriously, I have heard nothing to indicate that Caldwell will not be back next year. But, it doesn't hurt to keep on wishing.

I don't like the idea of bringing Dungy back. I love Tony Dungy and respect him a great deal. But his defense is outdated, and he has publicly said that he would be open to trading Manning. He may not have meant that, but I wouldn't want to take the risk. The Colts need a coach that will reinvigorate the team with energy and a new direction defensively. Dungy doesn't give us that.

If it doesn't hurt keep wishing may I wish a new HC, new defensive coordinator and a new special team coordinator?

  2. I hope no one believes that Caldwell or the Team is okay any more.

    Colts are turned to ponies...

In Hungary my favorite soccer team fired the head coach after 1 draw and three straight losses, since then we gained three wins and 2 losses with the new HC. What are Polian and/or Irsay waiting for?

    That team isn't that bad.

I'm happy that this game wasn't broad casted in Hungary. No one could see this shame.

  3. This topic turned into a debate if Caldwell is good or a bad HC, and I don't know the answer.

    Facts:

    We stand at 0-6

We couldn't manage, that Peyton Manning is injured.

    Our D. is pathetic

We have no special team work

Painter isn't Manning, but i think with plays better fitting Painter's abilities our offense could have done better. We shouldn't blame only Manning's injury for the poor season. Jim Caldwell has led colts into SB in his first year (I think it was little too early for him), but next season wasn't such good, and there were signs of future problems, those should have been managed.

    The players aren't such bad.

  4. I suppose Caldwell is responsible for vocational questions (like drafts, tactics etc.), and he is giving orders to the team at the sideline, thats why we, fans are liable to blame head coach for 0-6. I think, we've met at leas two beatable teams so far.

Manning's injury is a significant loss to the team, but six straight defeat out of six games may indicate that something doesn't works between the coach and the team. If so, no matter what kind of coach the team has, the work would remain inefficient. In that case, change in coaching is needed.

Perhaps an other coach with different philosophy and/or method, renewed tactics, new impressions may shake up the company. However I won't mind, if Caldwell starts to make wonder, and Indy will end the season with 8-6. I'm afraid, that won't happen! :(

    Let's hear those horseshoes tramping!!!

  5. It's hard to follow Colts' 2011-2012 season from Hungary as no Indy game have been on air this year so far (every Monday night football, and one other game of each weekend is broad-casted).

Based on numbers, and games' summary, I think we should start to think about next season, this season is eaten by dogs. However it would be important, I don't think Manning's return would amend all problems, all team-parts should be boosted.

Wonder if Caldwell or an other head coach would be the "booster".
