Of course . I agree that Luck made bone headed plays. Even Manning had a million INTs, but when it came down to it, there was no denying how good they were at QB.
It’s clearly not the same with Wentz, a relatively young QB who has been traded from the team that drafted him.
Wentz is a serviceable to good QB, but certainly far below what Colts fans expect from their QBs.

We’ve seen Luck play behind a horrible O-line, no RB threat, and throwing to guys like Whalen, Rogers, Nicks, Avery, Brazil, Grant, etc. and he still was able to do what was necessary to win.
We’ve not seen anything from Wentz to indicate he is “the guy.”

Pro Bowl votes are popularity votes and it’s no coincidence that the team on the first in-season series has the most number of Pro-Bowl players. It doesn’t accurately reflect on the quality of the players or the team.

We rushed 4 D-linemen the entire half….against a rookie QB who struggles against pressure. We had zero pressure.
No blitzes.
No stunts.
and everyone else played in soft zone.

If you’re a rookie QB like TL, this has to be your dream scenario. You’re playing against absolutely no pass rush and against a poor quality, depleted secondary.

I’m completely convinced that we are being held back by Flus on defense.
Imagine if Belickeck was coaching our defense. We would be destroying the Jags.
instead, we keep rushing 4 players hoping they get to the QB. Meanwhile, TL is dominating the Colts right now.

Yup, this is the real problem. Our defense is BAD.
Our offense will shore up with Fisher back, but our defense will continue to be soft all season long.
