The only safety (and player) I'd trade up for is Jimmie Ward but that's only if he falls to the second round. If Grigs likes another safety where we don't need to trade up I'm all for it.
ive actually have seen a couple mock drafts where he was mocked to us that would be awesome also wouldn't mind trading up if he falls to the second round but I think trading up into the first is silly

What does that mean? I don't see any hype we are talking about who will be there in the 6th round personally I would prefer Tyler Starr but would be fine with Sam in the 6th or 7th I am pretty sure we can do better in the 5th.
If you are talking about Sam in particular the talk is because he bombed so badly at the combine it looked like he could go undrafted since like 2002 only one SEC player of the year hasn't been at least a 2nd rounder. His pro day put him back in the end of the draft.That is news plain and simple no hype. Really think you are the only one seeing any hype in this thread seems to me we are all talking business.
Speaking of business I really think we need to try to find a way to get another pick in the 3rd or one in the 4th or both. There are a lot of good players that are going to go between our last pick in the 3rd and our pick at the end of the 5th. The mocks I do using the simulator have a guy falling at 59 everytime that we have to take screws up everything. I am pretty sure Grigs has his eye on an O Lineman early I think he likes Trai Turner in the 3rd.
you make a lot of great points, but im not basing the hype statement on just this one thread

A lot of hate to just start a thread to make a mean spirited comment. I don't get it....even if you don't root for the guy why people find it impossible to just ignore them. You would think that people get paid to put down players on these boards....first it was belittling Tom Brady and now we've moved on to RGIII. I can't wait for the Johnny Manzeil threads. I may not be a fan but I see no reason to rag on a guy for something so trivial. Stuff like that just seems petty and honestly...jealous.
it was brought to everyones attention I believe because a guy who hasn't really accomplished anything so far in the NFL, is getting over hyped and getting personal logos from billon dollar companies, its comical IMO

I liked how they explained why they had Davis as a top tier cornerback, he was excellent in man coverage last year given that he didn't really have a great pass rush all season people that that think he has consistency issues need to understand this
