I've noticed. The anticipation is killing me.
I know im on colts.com and the forums everyday just waiting for some news cant wait for the vontae signing

Wondering if we should check out all options for CB?? Not totally sold on Davis for the type of money that it is going to take to keep him.
hes a perfect fit for our scheme he knows the system and think he was at least in the top 10 for shut down corners and you want to get someone else
-
trust me he had the top 40 he's for sure going to the raiders
-
this is a really off the topic question so im sorry but im really curious how were we able to sign david sims before free agency started
-
In the "Current Colts Roster List with Salaries" post at top of the page,
it shows contracts:
RJF: 4 years / 22 million
Toler: 3 years / 15 million
Landry: 4 years / 24 million
No way are these guys worth that kind of money!
idk you never know about landry, but the other two defiantly toler can be cut though with no cap casualty i think

Andrew luck is awesome my favorite part of the interview was when Andrew got asked is there any good books you've read lately and he said some book about the French penal system. awesome
-
i hope they do he is a great punter and is awesome in the community but it comes down to money and we have a lot of great talent were going to have to sign here in the next couple years and punters do come cheap in the free agency but i do hope they retain him long term
-
most hard working person i have ever heard of he's one of the those people if he says he's going to come back next year better than ever you better believe it
-
i really don't understand why every one think WR is a small need we have 3 very un-proven WR and one turning 36 next year coming off ACL surgery. FYI everyone isn't Peterson. the colts front office is very unsure how reggie will be able to perform next year were going to have get that number 1 WR when reggie leaves and were probably at least at some point going to have to pay him a lot of dough so why not sign decker now and get it taken care of and let him build a relationship with luck now so when reggie retires we can be set
maybe not very unproven but they are unproven

to bad you don't have an xbox im addicted to madden
-
Yep. I said that Grigs should be on the phone with his agent a minute after midnight the day free agency starts.
If we're going to overpay for anyone, it better be an O linemen like him
that would be the best day of the offseason but i don't know, the browns do have a lot of cap and a franchise tag but i really hope he hits free agency
-
Why the snarkiness? If you are convinced you are right, do a little research and show us the extensive list of OLBs who aren't on their rookie contracts, and have clearly outperformed Walden for less pay. It shouldn't be too tough, assuming you are right.
im really not trying to be snarky he proved me wrong and I accept defeat at the time I wasn't talking facts i was kind of blowing smoke

If this happens I'm done!
1) WR is one of the deepest positions in the draft.
2) There will be other good options in FA @ a fair price, Maclin on a prove it deal.
3) Andrew Luck will make average receivers better just the same as Manning, Brady, etc.
4) Both lines need fixed and LB help.
5) FA signings last year provided little impact, so some areas could stand to be redone. Not to mention a premium was paid for most of those signings.
I think I read that maclin and the eagles were hammering out a one year prove it deal

So tell us specifically what he should have done that he didn't in order to earn the money he was paid?
It's already been pointed out many times that Walden got paid in line with what other 3-4 SamLB's get paid so this was not an expensive contract.
This says a lot. Werner was drafted to play RushLB. Walden was signed to play SamLB. Not the same position.
thank you for proving me wrong I see walden in a whole new light now, hope you feel better
-
he still did not even perform enough to warrant the kind of money we paid for him I don't really know why we signed him to such a long expensive contract then we draft werner in the first round the front office better improve drastically or were for another horrible offseason and yes I agree with everything this article said. I see him as a backup.
-
i hope, that would be great for the offense and it think that fleener and allen well benefit a lot form this hire
-
If he falls to the 2nd the colts should trade up for sure
-
im sorry there is no way he sits on the board that long no way
-
If the Colts think that Martin is a good fit, I have no problem with him being on the team.
And, I'm not worried about any media circus as I seem to remember that being one of the objections on this site to Manti Te'o after the social media hoax (or whatever it was called).
Yet, I can't remember reading much about that this year when he played for the Chargers as he seemed to blend in well and just go about business
And, I have no reason to think that Martin wouldn't do the same.
I feel like those are two totally different situations
-
I'd rather have Incognito than Martin
no thank you I don't think that entire o-line should play again none of them know how to treat any one like a teammate

ive liked us picking up damian Williams since the off season started Ive looked some stuff up on him they he can get open against the better cornerbacks in the NFL when given the chance and is really good getting out of his routes and he is a bigger receiver so he could add some size down in the redzone I will be upset if we way over spend for decker when damian Williams was right there and would probably put out the same production
