Positive might be Frank would have no choice and might help him get out of the way. -

There it is, down by 10, let’s see if Frank can win coming from behind from 10, something the Colts didn’t do the ENTIRE 2021 season. -

We don’t have a single win last season down by 10. We shall see if Frank can pull a rabbit out of a hat in the second half if we go down by 10. -

Yes, being OC and HC is detrimental to the team’s play by play success, I’m seeing it more and more. -

Should have taken timeout the play before the sack and regrouped for 2nd down -

If it’s another 0-3 or 1-2 start, the buck stops with him. We’ve to be at least 2-1 after the Chiefs game to have any chance to win the division. -

Yes, for all the stuff Irsay hurled at him, he took it in stride and when the Commanders introduced him, he said he made a lot of mistakes he can learn from. I’ve nothing against him. -

Whatever happened to keeping the DE engaged on a pass play so that tips don’t happen?? -

Love the Gus Bradley defense on 3rd downs, knew flat catches always open in his D. -

Don’t take Matt Ryan off the field Frank!!! -
Actually, Brisker and Hill, both safeties are great value now, IMO, both have Earl Thomas like abilities. Or, instead of getting the 6th or 7th best WR, getting the best TE in the draft in Otton is another direction I can see the Colts going towards. Maybe??? Having said that, Tolbert and Watson fit what the Colts would like to do with their WRs. Good luck tomorrow
-
You know, this is an excellent point you made. I do not have an answer, I doubt Ballard would either. Matt Ryan or bust for the next 2 years then.
-
Baseline is Philip Rivers, the ceiling is determined by the ride we Colts fans take, that’s called the season. Let’s see how the season goes with Matt Ryan given the fact we are on QB 6 in 6 years now. We should know we can’t take any QB for granted, one season at a time.
-
Yep, think about Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, plus newly signed Cedric Wilson for 3 WR sets and/or Gesicki, along with newly signed Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert. Almost non-existent, his playing time would be for Parker, IMO. A Robert Woods like trade can be a template for a 6th rounder, IMO, except Robert Woods costs twice as much, hence the Dolphins would want a 5th rounder. Makes too much logical sense to me on all ends, win-win for all sides, and the Dolphins get a 5th rounder recouped after their Hill trade.
-
Parker is a couple of years removed from a vet WR anyways.
-
Ballard should make a call and get DeVante Parker for a 4th or 5th rounder.
-
With an above average QB, we ALMOST made the playoffs though he was BAD for the last 2 games (Wentz). Any QB we get will be above average to good at best setting us up for a playoff appearance at best as a ceiling, IMO. Seahawks, before RW arrived, still kept stockpiling talent for the QB that “would” arrive. So I think strengthening the roster at positions of need can definitely be done in parallel, IMO.

Man, the Titans and Rams are not afraid of taking chances. The tide has shifted towards aggressive GMs nowadays. Woods was someone I wanted. -

I would give up a 4th rounder to the Rams for Woods. If he were healthy to finish the season, I would have given up a 3rd rounder but I have a feeling they would be fine trading him to us for a 4th rounder. That should settle the outside WRs for us and Woods would probably be better than any rookie we get in the 3rd round, IMO, even if we give up a 3rd. -

With all the theories thrown around, I might as well thrown an off-the-wall one to please the pitch fork crowd, lol. Maybe Ballard is ticked off at Irsay for forcing his hand to deal Wentz while Reich and Ballard wanted to give him another year?? So he is setting himself to be fired next year. I am only kidding but I guess my tin foil hat is just as good as yours when it comes to imagination. -

Brady and the Bucs are cooking again. Ali Marpet retires and Alex Kappa goes to the Bengals, Belichick helps out by trading Shaq Mason and weakening the Patriots OL to help out Tom Brady and the Bucs (while hurting Mac Jones and continuing to overpay mediocre WRs and TEs like Agholor, Bourne, Jonnu Smith) and the Bucs sign their backup OG (like our Chris Reed) who filled in well when Alex Kappa was injured in the divisional round thus replacing both their guards that they lost. They sign Russell Gage so that they don't have to deal with the Antonio Brown drama again for their No.3, re-sign Chris Godwin and Carlton Davis, push money to the future and are ready to roll again.
