    Here’s the deal. If you are constantly playing from behind, the other teams are going to have a few good drives sometimes. No one can stop any NFL offense for 60 minutes, they’re on scholarship too.

    Somewhat, they go down 0-14 in pretty much every game but the previous one vs 49ers where the 49ers crapped the bed.

    It was Hines, he goes down easily, that’s a big part of selling the face mask call. That worked against him, IMO. He should only be slot WR moving forward. Henry doesn’t go down easily and that helped sell the call when you are not in slow motion.

    Given our second half history we take care of the first drive and we’re back in the game

    Difference is when an RB like Henry doesn’t go down easily, like Hines, easier to get the face mask call

    Our D is actually playing well

    They can’t, they know line can’t protect for 20-30 yard passes and Ryan can’t thread the needle before safety gets there for deep passes

    Now that’s the right way to use Hines. Enough is enough down the gut

    Are they? Even if it’s 4 yards at a time in tough fashion, it felt like it kept us in manageable situations. Then Hines comes in for JT, back to runs up the gut again failing and not using Deon Jackson, we’re using Hines in ways he’s not good at, go behind the chains fast

    Yeah, he’s a hands catcher that snatches it. Normally rookies let throws get to their bodies more, definitely well coached by Reggie.

    Well said. That’s a talented D we played on the road. We just need to put 2 wins in a row for starters, and hopefully the O does better with home cooking as time goes on with chemistry.

    The good thing is we have not lost 2 in a row. The bad thing is we have not won two in a row. The next game is THE MUST WIN game at home because it’s our first of 3 divisional do-overs.
