  1. The Grinch. PFKAS.

    Poster Formerly Known As Superman.

But as others have said, you are not wrong with your polite brand of scepticism. But all is not lost, as we will really find out how good our D is next year, when we face Brees, Ryan, Mahomes, Newton, Goff, Carr, and potentially Brady and Big Ben. Maybe 3 of those retire.......

  2. Sorry for being stupid. What is a #2 WR exactly? Is there a criteria that places them in that bracket or is it a personal judgement?

I have even seen some strange posts about TY not even being a #1.

Probably best we leave it up to Ballard.

Braveheart... I'm assuming you mean those 4 in their prime, and if you do, that is the biggest lie you've ever told. Those 4 in their prime would destroy the Jags CBs and Luck would put up 40. The WRs were far from the only problem in this game, but to have all 4 of those legends at their talent level would completely change the game around with Luck at QB, run game or no run game.

It was poetic licence, flavoured to say we just had a bad day at the office. No children, animals or lies were used or harmed in the making of that post.....

weren't you one of the ones upset with Grigson meddling with Pagano's coaching decisions? That's exactly what you just asked for here.  No, the GM gets personnel, game decisions and game planning is the coaches job, period.

No, you are about 10 years out. Polian making Caldwell pull the starters when we were on for perfect season, that's when I had a tantrum about GM interference. And my point was a generalisation about these 'interview/article' relevances. Anyone with management experience knows that what you say outwardly bears no similarity with what you say behind closed dooors.

Now I just feel dirty for having an opinion.

He did address the aggressiveness and LIKES IT. He noted the prior success with it. Your position is a LOSER. Every time you repeat it you LOSE AGAIN. Whine on.

You totally misunderstood my point. But with such a feeble and childish attack, clearly I don't give a toss what you say. I assume someone must have stolen a few of your lego bricks to instigate such a garbage response. And if you really think what coaches say to the media is the truth, the whole truth, and noting but the truth, then help me............

  6. Probably nobody posted it because it has nothing noteworthy if I'm honest. Same old 'toeing the party line' stuff. We all really like Chris, but these articles / interviews are very same same. Now, if he had said that he told Frank to sort out his over aggresive approach and to stop throwing away points, then I might have appreciated the article a bit more.

But we all know you don't air your dirty washing in public.....

Keep going for it on 4th down and he can find a coaching job elsewhere.  Period.  Frank lost the game period.  He was awful on Sunday and if he keeps making stupid lame 4th and 1 calls like this his time will be limited int he NFL.  Take the points and you win the game.  Period.  Frank cost us the game and most likely a playoff appearance.  IMHO he needs to change his approach or I am going to want a new coach.  I cannot live with someone who gives games away. That's 2 this year he just gave away going for it on 4th down.  Good coaches do not give away games.  Frank is yet to prove he is a good coach.  As of right now IMHO he is not.

Period. You for got to say 'period' at the end of your rant. But fear not, I agree with your sentiment. Full stop.

  8. If a 'massive fail' is having the 5th best number of wins, and never having a losing record in said era, then I need to return to school. Pronto.

Not many people (me included) were pleased overall with the Grigson/Pagano era, but don't insult my intelligence with the 'dramatic' diatribe. That's me done with this little ditty of a thread.

I don't take it as being spoiled at all. In 1998 we were lucky enough to take a generational QB. In 2012 the same thing happened.

Most franchises would kill to have that kind of fortune. We got the golden ticket - twice. I feel it's our duty to compete for championships when you get QB's of this level. The Grigson/Pagano era was a massive fail and an embarrassing waste of Andrew's career, but I believe we're rectifying it now.

Only winning one with Peyton isn't ideal , and I hope we learn from our past mistakes with Manning and apply them to the Luck era. (ie give him a better defense/balanced roster)

We'll see what happens , but have a good feeling about 12 and the direction this franchise is going. One step at a time

I'm not putting a number on it. I just want us to become a playoff team again first.

"massive fail". Now that is the definition of spoiled.....

I prefer the base unis, but also enjoy a little different look once in a while (2 - 3 times a season?).

I'm just happy to see them on TV, so I'm not going to go too nuts with the colors they wear (as long as it's blue & white (mostly).

BUT, I'm color blind, so I'm sure that discounts my opinion.

BTW, anyone see the Browns/Bengals game?

What if they played each other in a color rush game? You couldn't fit anymore orange on the screen.

Hey Buccolts, I just came back from the hospital today, and they told me I was colour blind. I was shocked, it came as a bolt out of the green.....
