Chick makes it off the practice squad, shows up Hughes.
Wouldn't be hard now, would it! But you could have a dark horse there, sir.

yea garcon has so much upside...if he can improve his hands skys the limit, hes a tremendous deep threat as it is
Manning. Maybe he throws under 10 interceptions????

You and your dang level-headed logic and stuff. ;)
This is, of course, a great post. And having trolled Colts boards for the past six or seven years, it's pretty obvious that our fan bases have grown to appreciate and respect the rival QBs. As we all should.
The only kind of argument that still annoys me is when someone (from either side) props up their guy and then says the other is not even close. The difference, if there is any, between Brady and Manning is so slight and so subtle that most of us non-professional observers wouldn't even be able to tell. Doogan, for instance, asserts that Brady is "10 spots off" from Manning in the all-time conversation. But anyone with an unbiased eye would disagree. Oh well... can't convince 'em all, I guess.
Yes, I agree. '10 spots' off is just ridiculous.
More like 20 if we are being honest.....

They could reduce actual plays by better game management. Take the starters out more, when the results are in the bag. Bigger squads, more rotation. I just don't get the average fan not wanting this. Everyone to their own, though.

Come on guys, join The Lancet forum or go watch some episodes of House......

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was mainly Chris' draft. Usually Bill has the bigger say in draft picks, but this time he let Chris make most of the decisions. I'm not sure if that's true, but I think I remember reading it somewhere
Yes Super'. That's what I meant. Bill has been awful these past few years, so with someone else making the major decisions, it's got to be better.

People here in TN are in a state of PANIC! Well, except for us Colts fans.
Good, I hope they are panicking all season long! Personally, I'd have preferred Kerry to have played another year. This would have brought indecision, chop and change, and a great deal of uncertainty within the offense as a whole.
Well, at least we'll see what Locker has in his locker.

I agree on all counts. I think DIem still might have something to offer, but we need to free up money and he makes too much. But who knows how ready the rookies will be. Luckily Costonzo should be a fast learner. This may be unpopular (where's Cofeedrinker when I need him) but I don't think we have seen the last of Pollock. Weather it be at guard while Ijilana gets up to speed or net year at center. Unfortunatly I think we need to let the line be bad ( We've seen that before) before it gets good. There will be so many new and young faces that it will take a little while to get their continuity. Once they do, however, I think this could be the best Colts line we have seen in a long time.
PS I like the new forum! My only complaint is there doesn't seem to be a spell check which a guy like me really needs!
Come on, what age are you. You shouldn't be allowed on a computer, never mind joining a forum if you need a Spel Cheker.
Geez.

I think this was our best draft in years. I think they will all make an impact this season. I'm just not sure when Ijalana will get minutes this year. I know Costanzo will start day 1, but Ijalana might take some time. We will see soon enough though.
I agree, well said. And why is it going to be the best in years? Cos Ol' Billy Big Shoes Polian handed over the reigns to his boy.

Sell, I'd love to see it, but I'm not counting on it.
Buy or Sell: Collie makes the Pro Bowl (of course he won't be able to play because we will playing the next week)
Buy! Buy!
Buy or Sell: Peyton starts slowly (aka bursa sac year) due to neck injury?

I never liked the idea of an 18 game season, that was one of Goodell's many many terrible ideas. Glad to see things will be back and running soon.
Disagree. We fester for 7 months without football. Two more real games, and the roster management intricacies that would bring would be fabulous. We'd also need much better coaching and game management, which would drop us to the bottom of the AFC South pretty darn quickly...so maybe not such a bad idea to drop it after all......

Correction - 23 straight REGULAR SEASON games. The record for games including the playoffs is 21, which the Patriots set from 2003-2004. The '08-'09 Colts won 23 regular season games but lost a playoff game in the middle of that "streak."
Is the rest of the list as inaccurate as the first part? J/K, J/K...
Aren't the majority of NFL stats driven by the regular season? Play-offs...PLAY-OFFS!!! Nice to see you GP.....

Ok I'm here. A little slow in figuring out the new forum was actually up.
Good thing you called me or I'd still probably be in the dark,
Ok back and ready to rumble;-)
Dash, and I thought all these forum moves were designed to throw all those pesky Patriots off the scent.....just hope GoPats doesn't find us...

Its good to be back. This is a format that I think will please most people and hopefully some of the 'old' regulars will find their way back.
Nice one. Oh, btw, Brady sucks....

Just so folks know, there are more than 100 emoticons. Just hit the "show all" on the right and you will get all of the ones in the old forum as well as a few new ones.
Lots of choices.
We are working on a few other things.
Emoticons, what are they??? Good to be back!

Okay, I was joking. 15.
17 / 18 / 19th August if you fancy a beer somewhere in Boston. Mrs Wallace is dying to meet you. Told her you were a bit of a jerk, but that didn't dissuade her....
You around?
