I'm sorry, if you're not American you may not know the idiom.  It means hold on, you are getting ahead of yourself.

I'm not American, I'm British, and have a fairly decent command of the English language. I was just poking some fun, and pointing out that you had missunderstood my previous post. No harm no foul as they say.

You might want to back your truck up just a little.

I like your enthusiasm, but we're not in the playoff's yet.  It is quite possible we win out, go 10-6, and still not get in.  I'm not betting the Steelers beat N.O. AND the Ravens beat the chargers, but it is possible.

Now, I still think If we win out we should have a ton of respect even if we don't make the playoffs...10-6 is a heck of a lot better than 4-12.  And I would still Be pleased with the Colts, where they are and where they are heading if they even went 9-7.  We are already past where 90% of the odd's makers said we'd be before the season started.  And I've seen plenty to be very pleased and optimistic about the very near future of this team.

Lawrence, I don't drive and I certainly don't have a truck, so I am puzzled at your response. Oh, and I never said we would win a play-off game, I inferred that if our fans want to see more respect from the media, that is what they need to do......

I am very pleased with progress this year, no matter how it ends. If the 'conceded' tie v the Texans stops us getting in, that will be my only real disappointment.

Hopefully it doesn't lead to more talk about that HOU game. If the Colts would have handled their business against JAC...that wouldn't have mattered.

I respectfully disagree. It is one thing losing a game of football fair and square compared to flat out handing the advantage to a divisional opponent from the sideline. It really is that simple.

That's well, and good. But, they need a ton of help. There are a number of things about this match up that bothers me. Coupled with TY not being 100%. Believe me. No body in the world hope's I'm wrong more than I do.

Even if the season ended today theres no room to be dissatisfied. They have everything heading in the right direction.

Prey tell, just what are these mysterious things that bother you so?

I hate those Jet Lag Bowl games. If the NFL is looking for a new source of revenue, maybe they should just resurrect the old WLAF/NFL Europe.

Did we have jet lag when we laid an egg two weeks ago? Dry your eyes and accept it's not going away anytime soon....

    That sucks.

I think the last one was pretty early, which was kinda cool (eat breakfast while watching game) but it's really hard on the team. The week after they are always flat and tired.

Most teams get a bye the following week but I'm pretty sure we were the exception.

As long as it's not against Jacksonville, define. A game against Jax is completely in their advantage in London. They have a marketing group there, they play there every year so their players are fully acclimated to the process, and it's a far bigger home field advantage than playing in Florida

We really should not be afraid to play Jacksonville ANYWHERE.

Not worried about it, but considering we won 4 games last year without our starting QB, what the heck?

Btw....I have watched his rankings ever since, and every week, we had the lowest rankings of teams that we shared the same record with....until this week.

I would have placed them around 23 to 24. New coaching staff that starts with a head coach that was part of the last years SB winning staff, gets a 2 win bump regardless of who plays QB, and a 6 win team does not deserve 32nd.

I'm not a fan of his, nor David Carr, who does his best not to like Luck.

A rookie HC could still have taken us backwards. I had us at 11-5, based on Luck being CBPOY and our easy schedule....

But I could have been way out.

    That's how I feel...

I mean, I'm not a negative poster. I'm not trying to be that "unimpressed" kind of guy. I'm just saying that there's a difference between an opportunistic defense and a good defense. I think the Colts are the former right now.

I wasn't criticising you, just a wee Christmas joke......and although I'm slightly more upbeat, you are not wrong with your thoughts. One thing they will really need to tighten up on is penalties. Worst in the league is not good. I'm hope that is due to new schemes, new coaches, and a young set of players. We just cannot afford you give away so many free yards against next years' opponents.
