Us...and 31 other teams.
It would be nice if we could have that much control over who we drafted, without having to have the #1 (or even #2) pick to have that control. But I'd much rather we had later draft picks -- I'd hope we all would.
That said, it's certainly within the realm of possibility that we'll be drafting high enough next year that we could get him. But I wouldn't stake too much emotional capital on it.
I think the 3rd pick would do it.

Kinda the reason I think we should resign JT and not Pittman. I'm set on us getting Harrison Jr. Plus I'm also resigning Grove, hopefully same amount contract.

Yes, pretty much.

If I don't see the Colts dishing out hits on both sides of the ball, I'll be disappointed. I want AR to steam roll players. If he does I'll consider the season a success before the season gets started.
BTW, my wife doesn't let me go to games live anymore, not sure why, though.

To me this game is more important than it was 2 hours ago. We need to shut them up. Alot of Q pulling would be my play calling. I would celebrate everything at midfield like I was TO.

These joint practices are getting stupid. Quit the fighting.
Sounds like we getting bullied today, veterans trying to add a spark anyway they can. Your right Colts coverage sucks today.

1 joint practice or 2?

What the heck is wrong with Woods? Haven’t seen him at all this offseason.
"Little" something that has taken all camp to heal a "Little."

Good news, but would still like Woods and Ogletree out there.

Let's say we don't trade JT, he plays out his contract and doesn't resign. Would we receive a compensatory pick for him. What would it be?
Still not sure how compensatory picks work.

Arizona and Minnesota make sense for me right now. Would rather have Arizonas 1st which should be higher.
This is dumb btw, can't believe we are talking about this.
@azcoltThe Irsays asked for a new stadium for over 10 years. When they threatened relocating the Maryland state representatives changed a law the day of the move which would've put the franchise in the States hands. They had no choice or lose everything. You see 3 Mayflowers but it was 3 plus 70 more leaving Marland at different points. The Indiana state police met them at the border and gave them an escort to Indianapolis.

I want to see more Titus Leo on special teams.

I'm liking what Cross has done this last week and game. Something is clicking in him. Going to be hard to keep him off the field. I'm liking our defense still question the cbs.

Some details from article:
"Another pick-six for Darius Rush
Coming off his preseason debut against the Buffalo Bills, which included a pick-six, Rush followed that up with another Wednesday against the Bears offense. Working against former Colts quarterback P.J. Walker, Rush nabbed an interception and brought it to the house for a would-be score. The fifth-round pick continues to make plays and is building momentum toward carving out a role this season"
"Pass rush shows up
Two Colts players stood out when it came to the pass rush against the Bears offensive line. Third-year edge rusher Kwity Paye and free-agent signee Samson Ebukam both had strong days consistently getting after the quarterback. Considering they are the projected starters, that’s an encouraging sign."
"Offensive line issues
The Colts were without starting center Ryan Kelly, who is dealing with a foot injury, which means Danny Pinter was in to replace him. They also saw starting right guard Will Fries leave practice early due to an apparent calf injury, which he got wrapped up by the training staff. Arlington Hambright, who has spent most of the camp working as the second-team left tackle, replaced Fries at right guard.
On top of that, it appears the unit as a whole struggled in pass protection during team drills, and they failed to get the run game going, which has been an issue throughout camp.
It should be noted that left tackle Bernhard Raimann and right tackle Braden Smith had strong days against the Bears edge rushers."
There is 4 other takeaways in the article:
Richardson
Downs
Moore vs Moore
Injuries
Good news about Cross, hope he keeps it up.

I've stayed away from the Ballard grievance thread but if our Oline sucks this year I'll be on it everyday.

Brents got toasted here
Kinda the difference between Brents and Rush. Brents is amazing under 3 sec. Rush is better after 3 sec. So our pass rush better hurry.

Funny thing about that is, I was typing my post and it said you had just posed
I said to myself "Matabix is saying slide Smith over and bring in Freeland"
With those 3 in the middle 4 and 1 is always manageable

@w87r I would throw Freeland in now with Smith next to him. Might seem small but my favorite play besides AR flapping his arms was Freeland chasing down the int from the otherside of the field. I'm high on Freeland.
