French Ive had an eye on,has technique but lacked strength. This is likely kellys last season with us so who takes over French or Pinter ? Freeland getting rave reviews and Braden Smith can play either Guard or Tackle so may come down to Freeland vs Fries who is more ready to play at high level ? Ekiyor wild card in all of this

Someone on here said Ekiyor has played center. I heard opposite about French. Had strength lacked technique. Only by memory without looking it up and it was last training camp.

Honestly, Pinter failing to make the team would be one of my bold predictions for the year.  Back-up OL need to be able to play more than one position, and he proved last year that he doesn’t have the strength to hold up at OG.  Unless you want Pinter to start at Center, I’d just as soon keep French or Shepley who theoretically might not be pathetic at OG…

I keep going back to that Cardinals game 2 years ago, Pinter was amazing. But yea I'll cringe if I see him at guard. I think he's our best center with a mobile QB, but Kelly I think is better for a rookie QB. Idk they both could.

Pinter is terrible. He is a backup only. Indy needs to either bring in another vet at RG or let Ekiyor compete for it and hope he wins it.

Pinters best games was at C. Center sometimes doesn't have blocking assignments. Help left, help right on passing downs. Pinter is the 2nd best OLineman to get to 2nd level. Pinter is only going to be C or 6th lineman. BTW when Kelly has to pass pro he's worse than Pinter. Kelly is a road grader at center.

  3. If you want an edge person with 10+ sacks it'll be Dayo. I think Paye will get you close, but with more pressures. Not saying this is a bad thing at all. Last year Colts were 2 sacks away from all time season record. Imagine how many sacks they could've had with early leads.

Hooker(25) is even older than Levis(24).

Even at 24, he can still have a 12-15yr career if things go ok. So the age thing in is a little over blown. Unless it is like Chris Weinke or something, who was about to turn 29 when he was drafted.

I do like that ours just turned 21 though.

I can see why Titans fans wanted Hooker though. Close ties, and pretty much most Titans fans in Tennessee are Volunteer fans as well.

AR coming into his 3rd year is still younger than Manning and Luck in there rookie year.

They traded Chris Hinton, Andre Rison and at least one R1 pick for Jeff George.

    That trade is untouchable.

We had to have a QB, so didn't include that one. Jeff George was the clear cut favorite. 2nd QB taken was Andre Ware. Hope past doesn't come back to haunt us.

  6. Worst Breakup: Luck, starting to think Peyton.

Worst FA signing: Andre Johnson, only because he was suppose to come in and be WR1.

Worst Draft Pick: Steve Emtman, could say that was our worse draft. Had #1 and #2 pick, both were busts.

Worst Trade: Trent Richardson, I really don't think there is a close 2nd.

  7. Woods showed same flashes as MAC did in his 2nd year. Remember that catch in the Raiders game? I think since than MAC has gotten into his own head. Woods had a couple of catches last year that wouldn't have been caught by a normal TE. So excited about his future but want to see more in his blocking. Right now I would agree with Cossell, are TE room is average, but has potential to be among the top.

  8. Loved or liked most Ballard drafts, I think this one may be one of his bests. Couple of posters suggested enough of the nonsense I want wins. Which brings me to my point. What if Ballard has been drafting good, what if it has been coaching? This year we find out. Most of Reich's coaching years we have beaten good teams and lost to bad teams except, Pat's, Steelers and at Jacksonville, we lose here all the time.

All in all, I wouldn't be surprised if we go 6-12 or 12-6.

Seriously? Your position was that they WOULD NOT NOR HAVE NEVER THOUGHT about sliding Smith back into RG and I literally just showed you that they did, in fact, slide him back into RG last year to see if it was a better alignment.

Not sure what your arguing about, I'm saying the samething.
