Woulda shoulda coulda. It stinks sometimes. I think we swung and missed on Djoun Smith though. We will see more of him next season to evaluate him more.
Or down the stretch this year. He is on IR designated to return.
-
Fwiw, Moncrief said there's a 75% chance Luck plays Sunday.
So basically saying he will be listed as probable.
-
Love Gundy's stuff. I had hopes after the Titans game the OL would continue to gel and improve. The next few weeks will be telling but I'm cautiously optimistic that they can be effective, which is all the Colts need them to be.

Who ever says yes to this is stupid we need to get younger not grandpa reterment home
We should have signed Freeny instead.
-
Thanks I just read he was a full participant but looked a little rusty
He was limited: http://www.colts.com/team/injury-report.html
I don't think that means a whole lot, and I won't be surprised if he is listed as limited all week. What's going to matter is if he is listed as probable after Friday practice.

Larry, sorry that you take issue with my wording. I can see where some would have an issue but most get it. My source was not Brad Wells who has no sources. It was Mike Wells and I guess I should have specified. Mike has sources. Somethings not quite right with Luck.
No worries man. Was just pointing it out as I see it. Fingers crossed. We will see as it plays out...

Two things. First, the thread title should read different. There is a 50 to 60 percent chance he plays. Less than 60% chance of playing suggests there's a 40% chance he plays. Second, the source is basically saying per NFL injury designation that he is currently questionable, which we all know already. I don't think there's a ton to this comment by Wells.
That said, if he doesn't at play this week, I'm officially worried about how bad it is.

Source/story?

They beat the two pretty bad teams. Hell, the Jags practically gift wrapped the game to the colts. At this point beating up on the afc south again isn't going to save anyone's job.
They won two games with back up QB. The roster and coaching aren't top notch but better than the pitchfork crowd makes them out to be. There's still 11 games left. Things will change for better or worse but no one deserves to be fired as of week 5.
-
I don't believe you have to necessarily have to "start over".....depends on who you hire.
History says new GM = new coach. I'd hope after winning last two game with back-up QB, folks will chill on the fire Grigs or pags stuff.
-
Both flashed for me at times last night. Love the potential of what they could bring to the D.
-
Obesity can't believe how many people actually believed Pagano that Andrew was gonna start don't ever believe a word he says when it comes to injuries
Thanks for this...made my day!
-
In all honesty, Pagano isn't the one who deserves to be fired. That would be the man who built the offensive line and overstepped his boundaries on multiple occasions, Ryan Grigson.
Grigson first, then Chuck
If Grigson gets fired, about a 99% chance Pagano is gone too. A new GM brings in his staff to run the team. So, basically it is hold the course with Grigs and Pags, or start over. Irsay has a big decision to make.

I heard luck can barely throw now
I should know better than to ask, but where did you hear this at and what is the source? Are you suggesting Luck is regressing or could "barely throw" since the injury?
-
Kravitz stirring the pot. Agree with ztboiler that Irsay has not been impulsive regarding FO, coaches, or players.
That said, if the Colts don't win any more games before the bye, with our without Andrew, Pagano might get axed.

Venturi said something interesting last night on 1070. Essentially said this is likely the identity of the offense now and now that they have declared themselves with the current 'oline and this style of offense, they can work on it and get better.
I hope he is right. There were more deep plays to be had on Sunday than in previous games, as the short game opened them up. MH just doesn't have the arm to make them at this point in his career. Assuming AL's shoulder isn't falling off, he does.
-
Yes but we play Thursday.
Exactly. It is a short week. Makes injuries nearly impossible to gauge for fans at this juncture.
-
What was wrong with Davis? Did he get hurt the last game? I would think the concussion is well over.
Said foot yesterday. I'm sure he is fine...it is only Tuesday. Fingers crossed
-
Larry, let me ask you this. Did you or did you not make this statement on this forum today?
"Basically a partial dislocation where soreness (bruising) remains"
Get back to me.
I'm not going to argue with you. Yes, the two are related but not the same from a medical diagnosis standpoint.
-
You should probably take your own advice
.
"A subluxation may have different meanings, depending on the medical specialty involved. It implies the presence of an incomplete or partial dislocation of a joint or organ"
I guess you failed reading comprehension?
Again, a subluxation and dislocation have different meanings. Subluxation is less severe.
-
Subluxation is much different than a tear and not nearly as bad as a dislocation. It would be consistent with the bruise language the Colts are using. Basically a partial dislocation where soreness (bruising) remains.
-
There is a difference between dislocation and subluxation. Use google...it is your friend.

What the heck is wrong with you people?
Luck & Rib Injury

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Don't be foolish and think Luck hasn't played hurt/injured before.
