He has a device to check it. I had him do it twice to make sure. The meter said 3 percent. I thought I was at 5-10 range. And my abs are showing in that picture. You can count them. Plus I bet I'm 10 times more cut than you.

If you would take the time to read, I did not deny that your abs are showing. I said they're barely showing, especially considering you're "3% body fat." Too bad your mother wasn't an English teacher. Perhaps she would have taught you basic reading comprehension skills. And settle down big boy. I would love to take your bet and prove you wrong, but this isn't a bodybuilding forum. Haha. To end the argument and refrain from staying off topic, we'll agree to disagree about your body fat. Good luck on your fitness goals my man.

I have 3% I was checked 2 days ago. I exercise every other day. I watch my calorie intake. It's not hard if your mother was a nutritionist.

That's definitely not 3%. For starters, your abs are barely showing. I'm also a gym rat; I lift 7 days a week and watch my macros etc--I have a lot of buddies competing in bodybuilding comps. So I've very familiar with this type of stuff. It is incredibly difficult to even attain 3% body fat....let alone maintain it year round. The fact that your mother is a nutritionist is irrelevant. Nutrition isn't rocket science. Don't get me wrong, you have a solid body. However, absolutely no way that's 3%. How exactly did your doctor determine your body fat % anyways? I'm assuming he just eye checked it. I have a very similar body to yours, ironically. And I know for a fact that I'm not 3%

No it's not that's fat weight. Your hormones are at their peak when your 25. After such you lose that peak of gain pure muscle weight. You have 18% body fat and I have 3% I'll be 31 this year.

While I agree with your second and third sentence, your claim of 3% is absolutely ridiculous. Generally, anything under 5% is impossible to maintain year round. I'll always find it amusing how people underestimate their body fat percentage.

  4. I think Hasselback was speaking in general he believes there is a danger zone -- not so much that Luck is in danger of being overburdened. I don't think there was ever a question Luck's control over the offense was going to increase every year during his first few years as a pro. Eventually he will have complete control a la Manning or Brady. And I agree with SilentHill, I believe Luck will rise to the challenge.

  5. How is it criminal?.

So the legalized states are criminal. Ok.

I was speaking generally. The NFL originally banned it for the sole reason that it was criminal. Now back to the original question, how does weed enhance an athlete's performance? No where in the source that you cited to Dustin did it indicate that it would do so. So, again I ask the question, will you elaborate on how it enhances a football player's ability on the field?

  7. Because weed has an impact on the mind of a football player. For some it could be a positive influence which inturn can be viewed as an unduly advantage over others.

I agree on how the domestic violence is handled. Personally I would prefer NFL to stay out of it and let the court of law decide.

Can you elaborate on the bolded?  Weed in no way shape or form enhances a player's performance. The NFL bans weed solely because it's use is/was criminal.

As for Blackmon, it's sad to see this happen again and again. He's honestly a good kid from what I hear/see; just can't seem to stay away from the weed. Hopefully he'll surround himself with the right supporting cast, and figure his life out.

  8. Clomid is the banned substance. Even without elevated testosterone, the Clomid would be enough for a violation.

Yes, but not every physician will be aware that Clomid specifically is a banned substance. The increase testosterone levels, on the other hand, would be a huge red flag to any doctor...regardless if they follow sports or not.

  9. Who is Mathis' physician? The medication he took would clearly raise his testosterone levels. So either his physician is a dumb*** (which is quite possible if he graduated from IU med school), or the physician actually told him about the testosterone increase..and Robert took it anyways. I honestly don't know how a physician wouldn't realize this. This hurts. I honestly hope that this was a true accident.

On the bright side, though, everybody on the forum was complaining about all the mock drafts, and nothing to talk about in the offseason...well now we have something to talk about. Always trying to find the silver lining lol.

  10. Does anyone know why Peyton was never on the cover?

Where have you been? Peyton's been on it practically every year.....

.....in our hearts, dreams, and wishes. Jokes aside, I honestly don't know why he hasn't been on the Madden Cover. Yet, he was on the cover of "NFL Fever"---03 and 04 edition video game if my memory servers me right.

  11. Here's food for thought:

CBS and NCAA has a 10.8 billion dollar contract (14 yrs) just for March Madness (approx 3 weeks out of the season)

ESPN pays the BCS 500 million (4yr deal)

Each team within the Big Ten, for example, received 23.7 million from the B1G Network, tv contracts, etc (this doesn't include BCS, and other monetary bonuses)

In my opinion, college athletes should get paid. Should all of them get paid? No..why should all of them get paid? Soccer, baseball, lacrosse players, etc don't bring in revenue like CFB and basketball. Would it be fair to only pay football and basketball players? No. Is life fair? No. The NCAA is a multi-billion dollar industry thanks largely to CFB and basketball; consequently, the players should see the fruits of their labor. Sure, you can argue that they are already receiving compensation through a scholarship; however, that still doesn't justify not getting paid. Let's say you're working for a pharmaceutical company, and you...by yourself...find the cure for HIV/AIDS. The company rewards you by doubling your salary, so you're making double that of the average pharm scientist. On one side, they are paying you double than the avg pharm scientist..so you should be grateful for what you got. Yet, is it fair? No. The pharm company is making billions off of your idea, while you're making a significant amount less. Similarly, for instance, look from a college basketball player's perspective. The CBS/NCAA reached a deal of nearly 11 BILLLION dollars for just THREE weeks of broadcasting...that doesn't include the rest of the season (which will be significantly less, but still a substantial amount of money). Who made the NCAA that money? The basketball players did. Personally, I would feel its unfair. I'm not saying that the players should get paid a big hefty check....just a stipend would suffice...something more than just their scholarships.

  12. I don't need some outside source to vindicate the season/careers these players/coach had for us. As long as we, as their fans, appreciate and recognize what these players have done for us...that's all that matters. With that said, just because a player doesn't receive a plaque...doesn't mean that these players/coach aren't recognized for their achievements. For example, just for Dungy and Harrison to be finalists for the HOF is exceptional...many retired players/coaches would kill just to be recognized as a finalist (poor choice of words...shouldn't have put kill and Harrison in the same sentence lol). Anyways, I never understood when people complained about these types of things. Sure, you can contribute your thoughts on an existing thread (eg--the Pacers thread or I would imagine there's a HOF thread already up about Dungy/Harrison not making the cut)...but it's overkill just to make a whole new thread to complain about such a trivial thing. That's the pain I felt from reading this article.

I always find Yahoo! articles amusingly funny. Honestly, where do I apply to be a Yahoo! sports writer? I could have a brain aneurism in the midst of writing an article..and it would be substantially better than this garbage.
