Okay? Your point was that he has hurt the team more than helped. Clearly his accomplishments show  otherwise. It's not being an apologist to point what he has accomplished here. Again, if you want to say the team could accomplish more, fine. Don't behave as though Chuck has been a drag for five years when he took a 2-14 team to three playoffs wins in three years.

They only went 2-14 one season 6 years ago lol it wasn't like this team always been bad

So its real that Irsay said they are returning for next season, complete with a press conference?  I haven't seen that.

Edit:  I don't care about some bitter person putting up a sign, I care about what espisito said about them coming back next season.  Is this his assumption or did I miss real news?

What does that have to do with this??? Obviously they still have a job so whatever you're looking for is not there....it's already been reported chuck and grigs are staying for now irsay doesn't need a press conference to say that

    personal opinion, many disagree

It's obvious that he's shown improvement.

Ok so you stopped watching games in the middle of the season.  Weird but ok.  It might be worthwhile to know that Luck was among the LEAST sacked QBs in the final 8 games of the season.

What does how long it's been since the last time we've had a 1000 yard rusher have to do with the running game's effectiveness in 2016?  hint...the answer is: absolutely nothing.  It's not the the Colts  can't run the ball, it's that they abandon it too quickly.

what complete and utter nonsense.  he's using a very similar scheme as Wade Phillips and other 1-gap 3-4 coaches.  The scheme works when you have the proper talent to run it.  But Wade Phillips' defense is going to struggle if he has Chris Milton, Rashaan Melvin and Darryl Morris in his secondary.  Not to mention the incredibly inconsistent and often times incredibly poor performances by our ILBs...and of course the lack of a legit edge rusher.

Again who the most sacked/hit qb in the league? Don't care what the o-line did in the last 8 games there are 16 games played total...start great finish great they lack that alot. What improvement has chuck shown???? You talking about another chuck. Lol@ using a scheme similar to another coach like that's gonna make him look better it's not, atleast wade uses his scheme correctly unlike chuck 3rd and long denver actually put both their safties deep chuck still only keeps one saftey deep which is stupid because a corner can get beat which has happen plenty of times before. Again it's obvious

What do you classify an unnecessary penalty?

Unnecessary roughness, way too many false start (yeah false starts happens from time to time but there were too many called this year messing up a good drive) pass interference on the defense who told these guys they can grab the wr down the field??? Smh

  5. It ain't about what the fans want entirely it's just making the obvious change....like it's OBVIOUS chuck is not good enough to be a head coach, it's OBVIOUS grigs is not a good GM, it's OBVIOUS we can't keep luck clean for the most part, it's OBVIOUS the running game is still not there (yes gore ran for a 1,000 yards this season but look how long it's been since the last time that has happened) it's OBVIOUS the defensive scheme chuck believes in does not work, still not enough press coverage and no two deep safeties on certain situations so bottom line is irsay needs to make the obvious change

This team has lost 3 in a row to Houston.  They narrowly escaped a 3rd straight loss to Jacksonville.  They went 1-6 against playoff teams.  Yet, we're checking off easy wins on our 2017 schedule?  What do you think people are saying when they see us on the schedule?

Exactly that's why I said if the gameplan remains the same....I'm not talking about talent or who we draft

  7. Home games

    Denver

    Steelers

    Titans

    Jags

    Houston

    Browns

    Cardinals

    49ers

    Away games

    Seahawks

    Rams

    Baltimore

    Bengals

    Titans

    Jags

    Texans

    Bills

If we have the same gameplan in 2017 like we did in 2016 I don't see us winning much maybe 8 games again this schedule will be toughest since luck been in indy

So far, I'm not a big fan of the way this has unfolded.

I don't like letting anyone twist in the wind,  especially so publicly.

By now, Irsay should know what he wants to do.      If he doesn't,  then he should've requested that Chuck not have his normal Monday meeting with the media.      If he's keeping Chuck,  then he should've had a presser, or at least put out a statement.

If he's handling it all at once --- fine --- by what's taking so long?    For the 2nd year in a row,  do you really need to have meetings that last hours long?       I find this....    curious at best,  and poorly handled at worst.

Exactly it seems irsay handles situations like way differently from everyone else it's not rocket science either you keeping them or not and it wouldn't be hard to find a replacement for a GM or coach when you have luck at qb. I think he should let his daughter put some insight on it because he don't know what to do
