1. Luck
2. Davis
3. Costonzo
4. Jones
5. Adams
Our best players at our weakest positions (OL, DL, DB) must stay healthy for us to be a complete team and not break down.
If we loose a guy like Hilton we still have Johnson, Moncrief, Dorsett, Carter and the TEs.
If we loose a guy like Mathis we still have Cole, Newsome, Walden, Werner

Tier 1:
Luck, Rodgers
Brady, Manning
Brees, Rothelisburger
Tier 2:
Rivers, Romo
Wilson, Newton
Flacco, Ryan
Tier 3:
Kapernick, Dalton
Manning, Stafford
Tannehill, Smith

Starting to get nervous... Hopefully we can rap these up soon.

Buy. What's a better time than now?
He's got Dre, TY, Moncrief, Carter, Dorsett, Brown, Fleener, Allen, Doyle, Gore, Ballard, Herron.
-
Fleener will be closer to 4/28 IMO.
Hilton will be closer to 5/60 too.
Also, don't forget Lucks salary for this year is already 17M, so it should only be a 6-8M jump for future years. Lots of people forget that.

What will our OL look like?
Costonzo is a lock at LT, but everything else is up in the air.
Will Mewhort or Herremans play RT?
Holmes or Harrison at C?
Who steps up as a starter at OG if Mewhort or Herremans play RT?
-
I'd give Hilton 5/50 with high g's (around 52%)
or
5/60ish with lower g's (around 38%)
-
No way we get rid of Doyle. He's our FB and backup TE on a dirt cheap contract.
-
Dez - 6 years/87 Million - 14.5 annually - 36.54M Guaranteed (42%)
Demariyus- 5 years/60 Million - 12 Annually - 30M Guaranteed (50%)

Former Clemson OT Isaiah Battle goes in 5th round of NFL Supplemental draft to...St. Louis Rams.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter)
July 9, 2015Decent pickup for them.
-
Under the likes of: DeMarco Murray, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, JJ Watt, Megatron.. hmmmm
MODS: Please move to Colts section accidentally put in draft section
-
Darius seems criminally underrated. Great to see the Votae recognition.
-
I'd love to see AJ, TY, Dante, Dorsett and Gore all on the field at once, and just gas them with a mixture of draws/deep balms while running no huddle the whole time. Keep the defense guessing.

The four teams ESPN connected to Evan Mathis were the 49ers, Colts, Chiefs and Dolphins. I think they left out the Rams.

June 14, 2015Reliable source. Broke the Suh news before the tampering period even started.

Guys, he's not getting anywhere near 8 million. If a team where willing to pay him 8 million (even 5.5) they would of atleast thrown a 7th at him. And nobody did. Remember, this guy has been openly shopped for 2 years now. He'd be lucky to get 4M... I would personally love Mathis any price 2M-5M, but I just don't think it's realistic, I think our spending is over.
But a OL of Costonzo/Mathis/Holmes/Herremans/Mewhort is really easy to fall in love with. Also makes Cherilus 100% expendable and still leaves us with adeqeuit depth (Thomas, Riets, Cherilus, Harrison, Thorton, Louis, Heenan).
Boy... I better stop talking about this before I talk myself into thinking it's a realistic possibility
-
Add Extend Luck to that and I agree.
-
He's not the guy. Holmes got an equal number of snaps during OTAs, they switch back and forth.
Right now he is the guy... Harrison is taking the 1st team snaps. Working with Andrew, AC, Mewhort and the rest of the line. While Holmes is taking the second team snaps..
-
You can always get QB talent in rounds 10-12. Honestly I don't even look at them until after round 8.
-
I see a lot of simalarities between Mike Adams and him.
Hopefully Dwight can play close to the level Mike did last year. That would be a great safety class.
-
Because my point was in 2013, Cherilus was better than Costonzo (our best OL) I used 2013, because I don't think Cherilus is better than Costonzo know as he has grown. Two things:
1. PFF olineman grades are crap.
2. Why use 2013 numbers? Why not 2014.
3. PFF onlineman grades are crap.
Additionally, I think GC is a good tackle and people keep saying "when healthy". But that is the thing with GC, he has a degenerative knee disorder that means he will not be getting healthier than he was last year. All he can do is manage the pain but that won't help the loss of mobility and strength from the knee issue.
I like PFF, I'd rather take the opinon of a unbias person/crew of people who watch every single play.
-
You think Cherilus was better than Castanzo in '13?!?
I like Cherilous plenty, but better than Castanzo?!? I absolutely don't share that view......
2013 Cherilus: +8.9 overall (PFF), +5.2 Pass Blocking (PFF), 30 QB Hurries, 4 QB Sacks, 6 QB Hits
2013 Costonzo: +3.9 overall (PFF), -8.7 Pass Blocking (PFF), 46 (!!) QB Hurries, 6 QB Sacks,
Basically showing Costonzo was a turnstyle even if the sack stats didn't particularly reflect it, thank God he's playing better. Also, Cherilus had a very good respectable year.
-
To me, this is getting a bunch of guys extra reps at RT while Cherilus isn't available. But if they go with Donald Thomas at LG and Herremans at RG, then putting Mewhort at RT makes sense. I'd just as soon keep Mewhort at LG, though.
I wish, but unfortunately don't think this is likely.
If we we're planning on playing Mewhort at G again, he'd still be taking some snaps at guard, it makes no sense to have someone play out of position for 100% of snaps. I would just except atleast 30% at his position he'd be playing.
I could be wrong though, hope I am.
I'd much rather have:
Costonzo-Mewhort-Holmes-Herremans-Cherilus (healthy)
than
Costonzo-???(Thomas)-Holmes-Herremans-Mewhort
I just think Cherilus is too good of a OL to not play if he's healthy. He was our best OL in 13' (Last healthy season)
Who gets the third RB spot?

I think a better question is who's the 2 odd men out between: Robinson, Ballard, Tipton, and Varga?
