He's not blazing fast. And the only drill he put up big numbers in was the redzone drill. The majority of which was with Matty. Tc studs don't make it in the NFL, often.

This can give you an idea of his short term speed. His burt is un-real. A 6'5" man should not be moving that fast. Saying he's not blazing fast is just untrue. There's a reason why most of his yards come after the catch, he's got moves and is very fast. He's very good after the catch.

I am with you.
Let's be honest here, if Durons last name was Smith or Johnson he wouldn't have got any hype.
No hype around a 6'5 blazing fast receiver putting up big numbers in TC with Andrew/Matt?
-
Because Carter just ain't good enough, where as Ballard has succeeded in real play.
I don't get what you're saying about Carter. He was our most impressive player in Training Camp and Ballard hasn't participated at TC since 2012. Also, you're saying Ballard has succeeded in "real play" and I assume you mean regular season games, but Carter hasn't gotten the chance to prove himself which is why this board is mad about this move. Ballard is a shell of himself, nobody comes back from an injury 100% let alone 2 and a current stinger.
-
Really hate this move. Holder says we're trying to put him on our PS, I doubt he makes it Carolina, Cleveland and Minnesota all offered him contracts in March.
-
Browns kept 6 OL-men. We kept 5 DL, battle to see who can be less balanced?
-
Only because Herron and Robinson are injured.
Except for the fact Ballards injured too...
-
1 DL-man active from last years roster.. wow.
-
So as of right now:
OL- 9
DL- 5
RB- 5
DB- 12
-
Colts will regret cutting Carter. I'm telling you that right now, he could be a really good rotational WR.
-
I'm really shocked they kept Ballard.
-
Sorry for the Caps^^ .
But DURON CARTER is gone. WOW I can't beleive it what a horrible decision. Whalen over Carter, YUCK!
Also, Arkin is gone we're only keeping 9 OL? Also Chapman, only 5 DL as of right now. Yikes.

ARKIN, BROWN, ADONGO, BENNETT, BRAY, CARTER, CASEY, CHAPMAN, FIELDS, HUGHES, JOHN, JOHNSON, MUAMBA, O'BRIEN, PATTERSON, QUARLES, SWOOPE, TAYLOR, TIPTON

Who's the surprise keeper now that Hughes is gone? Will they keep Price and Brown and 6 cbs? Will they keep 4/5 RBs? 6 WRs? Or grab some of the other cuts? We'll see!
-
Alright! It's 4:00 get ready here we goooo...!
-
Maybe he'll sign a 1 day contract and retire a colt
Fingers crossed.
-
Reggie asked for a release and retired.
-
Also: Keeping Sylvestre via IR is a tremendous move. He was sosososo impressive in Pre-seaon, we can keep him around until next year. Awesome.
-
Jeez. Didn't see the Hughes cut. We carrying 6 on the DL? Langford/Anderson/Parry/Chapman/Kerr/Okine? Maybe a moves coming.
-
Wow that would be truly brutal for him, he goes through going to his rival just so he can play then gets cut. Yikes, I feel for you Reggie.
-
Achilles tear, extremely deep Bears EDGE rotation. I'd send a 6th or low pick for him and cut Werner easily.
-
Sources telling me the Giants and Seahawks have discussed a potential Kam Chancellor trade. Tho the sides do remain far apart on a deal.
— Shaun Morash (@MrazCBS)
September 5, 2015If Chancellor is being shopped, I would definetly be interested. He'd change our defense, he'd be very expensive though. What the Seahawks would be asking would also be waay to high too, most likely. I'd offer Lowery/Adams + 2016 1st + 2017 3/4th. That's a haul but Chancellor would change our defense. I doubt the Seahawks would accept that though, also I'd be skeptical to pay him with Allen, Fleener, AC, and Luck all needing new deals.
-
I don't think the extent of Boom's injury warrants short term IR, I don't think he'll be out 8 weeks.
-
The #Colts are releasing DT Kelcy Quarles, source said. Former #Giants signee and South Carolina star.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet)
September 5, 2015Here we go! I was pulling for Quarles to make the team, I was impressed with him in PS, but Okine out preformed him, it was probably one or the other so this is a good sign.
EDIT: Gaah! Wrong section, Mods please move if possible.
Carter Is Gone.

Can I use your crystal ball for a second?
How would you know this? All we've seen from him in pre-season has been with QBs who couldn't complete a pass to a standing target 5 yards away from them. If you look at his production with a real QB he was extremely impressive. Also, 6'5 dudes who are fast as heck don't come around often.
Anyways, get back to be on the crystal ball I really need to borrow it!!!
