I dunno....when I saw him Hunter play, Tyler Bray wasn't doing him any favors.....that is hot and cold
Tyler Bray isn't great by any means, but neither is Justin Hunter's hands. He just seems like a big project to me...yea he has size and speed, but so did stephen hill last year (kinda reminds me of him). His weaknesses from what I have seen are his hands, route running and strength. I just think there will be way better options in the draft.
Tyler Bray isn't great, but is the best QB in this class. Give him 3 or so years behind a vet (ie Rodgers, Brady) and hell be a fringe elite NFL QB. Calling it now.
As for our pick, I hope we do draft Justin Hunter. Coaching does wonders, and when you have Wayne, along with someone who wants to improve, you'll have some learning.

I'd like to see the coaches and GMs pick the players and pool them. Then, for the fans, I'd have them vote from that pool for captains. The top two vote getters, regardless of conference and position, would pick their teams, kind of like the new Rising Stars game (rookie challenge) in the NBA.

If Nick Harper's girlfriend hadn't stabbed him, Peyton Manning would have at least one more ring. We would have beaten the Steelers, and whoever represented the AFC would have beaten the Seahawks anyway.

I knew when I saw the thread it had to be bleacher report. That is how incredibly absurd it is to say that.

Typically, at least for the big four sports, our leagues are the most prestigious in the world, without comparable competition, except for maybe hockey.
-
I hope to God it's not Cruz. I do NOT want him anyway, ESPECIALLY for our 1st rounder.
-
I didn't want him to begin with, and with Bethea and Landry, we definitely don't need him. I still don't want him.

Jarell Freeman was CFL. Kurt Warner was AFL. Talent comes from everywhere, and luckily we have a guy in Grigson who can find it. I have higher hopes for Kelley than Palmer, but I think they can both play at a respectable level.

This is why I think we could (and IMO should) draft Alabama's Robert Lester. Good player for the pick that will serve as a good backup on a rookie salary.Agree. i think we will draft either a CB or a S with our 1st pick
We wouldn't draft a backup safety with our 1st rounder.

I liked him, but he was awful. We can draft a new safety and pay him Zibby's money.

why not bring in ryan fitzpatrick
Because he sucks. Give me Mr. Harnish.

A typo warranted a thread? I'll be back in a few days...

I think we have done very well. The poker game that Grigson played the first day was great. I didn't realize it at the time, but he was letting all the free will spenders to overpay for everyone. Now that that has happened, some teams had to overpay to keep their own players, putting them out of the market for anyone. The Colts however, kept space for some of these cap casualties, or these players that were going to be signed but couldn't because of re-signing of other players. I was angry on Tuesday, but now, I think we have done very well.

I really like Justin Hunter from Tennessee. If we can trade back into the second round and snag him, I'd be happy.

I think right about 4 years. I hope it's not that long, but I feel it could take longer.
-
Dang I hope he signs here.

I thought Ed Reed was 36. My bad. He's 33 now, and 34 in October. Where's the younger part?
I don't think Grigson is going in that direction. As to other posters, personally, I want no part of Laron Landry.

There's always Carson Wiggs if Mcafee can't do it.

Cheap and better than Zibi.
Like it.
But I don't know why he was cut by Arizona. If he was just a cap casualty then I would be all for the move.
I was thinking the same thing. I think he was just a cap casualty, though. He's been a great player and always has been, but they have to pay their quarterbacks and Larry Fitzgerald. The strong side safety is an easier position to mask weakness than other pressing needs in Arizona.
-
Strong side safety from Arizona.
Since he was released, I have wanted to Colts to sign Adrian Wilson. He is a great option at safety, that would allow the Bethea to stay at the Freeside position.
Playing in the 3-4 in Arizona, he would fit right in with Coach Pagano's defense. He is a more versatile, younger, cheaper option then Ed Reed. He isn't the bruiser that Reid is, but he can still manage well over Zibby.
What are your thoughts on Wilson?

I hate Lebron. I hate the heat. (Almost as much as the bulls and their fans that is.) however, I dont think he could play. He whines when people breathe on him so I'd be concerned about when he gets hit like Wade hit DC that he would get tossed for complaining about being touched.
-
As a non-homophobic GM, I wouldn't care if he was gay, but I would care if my team cared if he was gay. He might be an okay football player, but if he can't take the abuse from the team, he doesn't belong on my team. I am just glad that the Colts don't have to worry about him, because I think he's an awful player.
-
I'll give them the cap space and some advice for him. The advice would be to trade him to the colts.

Ballard already has been better than Brown ever has. It's time to quit giving Brown second chances. It's Ballard's time to shine.
WR or OT seems like the choice now for the 1st round
