  1. I hate how "with Luck any WR will do" because that's not fair. If Castonzo and Ijalana can play the draft a WR. Imagine how good we'd be if Luck had his own Calvin Johnson or AJ Green.

Calvin Johnson was the 2nd overall pick and AJ Green 4th overall. Tough to get that kind of value at #24, sure that would great to have a WR like the aforementioned duo, but at the current pick I think that Oline would be better value.

I understand that, but we have arguably the best talented WR dropping to us in Justin Hunter. Just my though but we need to get Luck a great target opposite and to eventually replace Reggie.
  2. Not only would I not mind Lacy, I would love to have Lacy. He is so good at breaking tackles and making people mess, and he would fit in perfectly with the West Coast offense that we are going to be running. He, paired with Ballard, would be a terrific tandem out of the backfield.

  3. I hope we trade back as well. If we can do what the Cleveland Browns did a few years ago, and trade back a few picks at a time and stockpile later round picks, I'm sure Grigson can find talent late.

  4. I don't see what all you guys have a problem with. Yes, in the past he's had drops, but he's also had bad quarterbacks. I mean come on. JaMarcus Russell, Carson Palmer, and Jason Campbell. Yes he had been a bust from his draft position, but 31 of the 32 teams had him as a second rounder. That is on Al Davis and his stupidity, not on him.

He could use a second chance. Look at Marshawn Lynch. That guy was written off in Buffalo, and then went to Seattle and became a top 10 running back in the league. Andrew Luck can do wonders for DHB. Besides, we will likely get him on a 1 to 2 year deal, and if he doesn't pan out, we will just let his deal expire and let him walk. You can never have too many weapons, and that doesn't make us not draft a receiver as well. I hope we pick up DHB.

Did you read the comments on this thread or just presume everyone was badmouthing him? Because the vast majority of posters are very much for bringing him in.

I did. That was more towards the few that are adamant about not bringing him in, the ones who want to draft one instead.

  6. I just say call it the "NFL"

    National Flag Football League

All these rules are just getting out of hand. Football is a violent game. When you sign your contract, you're basically signing your life away imo. You don't wanna get hurt? Don't play, it's quite simple actually

That is just plain silly. The NFL is up to their a$$es in lawsuit from former players now. It will only get worse in the future. I don't think you will even recognize the game in ten years.....

No it's not. He's right. Football is a violent sport. You know when you sign your contract that there's a possibility you could have an injury like Eric LeGrand, and be paralyzed. You also know that you could end up like Junior Seau with a concussion, that leads to suicidal thoughts and or attempts later on down the line. Every sport has his injury risks, and in football, the injuries just happen to be more violent, contact based injuries.

Ps you're here too? Did you get run off of PD?

  7. He said on air that "his" people that are close to the Colts say this is the logical target.

Makes sense really... Speed guy opposite Wayne and lets Hilton play in the slot...

Chap was also just on. And he said Irsay stated he was pursuing a FA WR. Not new news... But a far cry from all the "whopper" talk we've been hearing. OH well..

I think DHB is becoming very likely.. .

Is this the same JMV that sited Cruz at the Indy airport?

To be fair, JMV never did cite him at the airport. He retweeted somebody, quoting him, asking him if he had a picture coming to complete his tweet claim.
