  1. I remember wanting to trade our 2nd rounder and a late rounder up to the late 1st for Doug Martin. I just like to think about if we would have drafted Martin and picked another tight end later on. Granted It gave Luck a familiar face, it's just an interesting thing to contemplate.

  2. Who are some late rounders or potential undrafteds that you think could become good players in the NFL? I'd like to hear what you guys think. Personally, I think that one could potentially be safety Damion Stafford from Nebraska. The guy can tackle, and is a smart player. I think with the proper coach, being Pagano, he can flourish and could become like Antoine Bethea in regards to where he was drafted. He is a projected 5-6th rounder.

  3. It takes time for Luck to develop. Why? Because he has talent across the board. The reason that Cam Newton or Robert Griffin are so good now is because they are so good at the one or two things they do, they can tear up teams. That is, until there is all kinds of film on their play and teams can figure them out. Cam Newton is now and Robert Griffin will next year have their play drop off, considerably, when teams figure out ways to stop them. While they are two average or below starters, the Colts will have a guy who took time to develop his skills across the board and could become an elite QB. You can't have success "NOW, NOW, NOW!" if you want to have greater success later.

  4. Oh.....I thought you were joking.

Well...to each his own I suppose. I would say that American football is far superior to any sport in terms of action and sophistication. In regard to soccer; It has a certain 3rd world appeal. A sport that witnesses most of it's violence in the stands amongst the drunken fans, any sport that is popular in Pakistan is off my viewing list. Cricket, soccer, beheading infidels.....not my bag...

For me, soccer is my favorite sport. I could watch two teams I've never heard of, my favorite team of who's colors I bleed, or a rec team out at the park. I could watch soccer all day, any day. I just can't do that for football. To each their own.

  5. Things happen in NFL football, like stuff and lots of junks and things. Like plays, catches, fumbles etc. Soccer is back and forth shin kicking better suited for heavily sugared children.

Those zany Brits....here's what they did before they invented the ball.....

It's like soccer without the running.

Soccer > Football in every way.
