1- I didn't say he was "just a running QB", so I'm not "ill-informed"Right. Because accuracy, great arm strength, and athleticism will translate to a poor QB?Look, I get it: people immediately like to typify him as a running quarterback because Cam Newton, Vince Young, and Mike Vick were/are all running quarterbacks. However ill informed of an idea this is, you're welcome to have it. However, it is absolutely false; Griffin is nothing like these quarterbacks, and the longer that you continue to insist he's one, the less amount of time you'll actually get to enjoy watching him play.
And another thing, I don't want to hear anything about how defenses have "figured out" Cam Newton. He has balled out just as well this year as he has last year. The Panthers' early defensive struggles were projected onto Newton, partially because of his poor attitude after the Giants game, but it's telling when they haven't lost a game by more than a touchdown. I would consider them heavy playoff favorites next year.
2- I never once said anything of Cam Newton.
Now that you have your facts about my statement correct, I honestly don't think Griffin will continue at this level. His accuracy isn't as phenomenal as some will have you believe. Also, those traits don't make bad quarterbacks. Bad decision making does. His poor decision making skills when running or under pressure make him a serious injury and turnover liability.

He will have a better career playing like Antwaan Randle El. I don't see his QB skills carrying into another year after defenses watch his rookie film. It's a good thing you're not a coach, then. -
I'd take him over Avery and Brazill, but not before I'd go after Jairus Byrd, Tracy Porter, and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, as well as offensive line help. Like someone else said, he'd be a luxury
-
Yeah, I meant DominiqueBy big names, I mean people that if we go after, we will have to compete with the other 31 teams to get him (not literally all 31 other teams but you get what i mean), players where 2 or 3(max) teams will look to go after them ( I highlighted those where we will have tons of competition to get), hope that clears things upAs for Jairus Byrd, I think he should be priority #1. He and Bethea would be scary in the defensive backfield.

Feel free to like the facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/JairusByrdColtsYour signing Jarius Byrd suggestion sounds fantastic to me Steagles. I can certainly support that plan of action 100% Steagles! -
I'm surprised that I didn't do this already. I mean, draft night I said by the end of 2013 RG3 would be catching passes from Cousins, and I still think he should play receiver in favor of Cousins at QB.
-
Didn't Irsay extend him a job offer in the front office? If so, I wonder if it still stands.

If Nnamdi gets cut, sign me up to work on a website like nnamdiacolt.com or something to get him to come here. If he gets cut, he'll be #2 on my wish list, Jairus Byrd being #1. Just thinking of what GCG5150 mentioned, Vontae and Nnamdi paired with Bethea and Byrd... WOW.

I'm not sure if you'd consider these guys big names, but here goes:
Jairus Byrd (S) - Buffalo
Felix Jones (RB) - Dallas (Who I think would be great here with Ballard, he just needs a good coach to push him to try)
Josh Cribbs (WR) - Cleveland
Connor Barwin (LB) - Houston
Tracy Porter (CB) - Denver
Delanie Walker (WR/TE) - San Fransisco
Antonio Rodgers-Cromartie (CB) - Philadelphia
Rey Maualuga (LB) - Cincinatti
LaRon Landry (S) - Washington
Glenn Dorsey (DL) - Kansas City
-
I know I am about to get shunned for this, but we should sign Tebow to play as a power running back to compliment Ballard. I honestly think he'd be solid.
-
I would cut Moore in favor of Karim, but I wouldn't not allow him on the flight. I mean, he didn't Kyle Williams that game. No but really, he should be benched for Deji Karim.
-
With all of the defemsive injuries to both Baltimore and Cincinatti, I'd take either. I thionk our D better matches with Baltimore, so I'd want Baltimore.
-
Don't start a presidential argument, please. I don't feel like arguing right now. That other song was when the world was POed at our invasion of Iraq. A kneejerk reaction. It's long enough ago that that song shouldn't matter. I don't think he should be the Super Bowl halftime. There are much more deserving acts. My wish list includes Metallica and Green Day.

We haven't beaten Kansas City, yet. The moment we write them off is the moment they pull a snatch-and-grab and beat us.
-
I don't like Watt on the field but he is a classy kid with a good head on his shoulders. Hard not to like off the field.
-
Karim>>>>Moore.
-
O line, secondary. Wide receiver and then CJ.
-
He was the Iowa QB for a while. He's 25 so he is relatively young, and has been out of Iowa for 2 seasons now, I think.
-
This year's wide receiver class was not exactly stacked, so there is a very good chance he could turn out to be the best.
-
SHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT, 3 and out.
-
You don't like Marv Albert? He's my favorite! At least Marv Albert did not get lost and land at a football game again -
I look for a completely entertaining game today, regardless if we win or if we lose. When the game means this much to both teams, the games get to be pretty awesome.
-
I want Ezekial Ansah, but would be alright with Jones.
-
I just really want Jairus Byrd.
I'll do it. The Official Kirk Cousins is better than RGIII Thread.
