Oh jeesh! The man just got back from a torn ACL. It's the NFL you're not going to go off every game. You may go a couple without much action and then 2 or 3 in a row where you ball. The scheme itself is designed to discourage deep throws. That's part of the reason you don't see much. The opposing team looks deep and sees it blanketed and eventually they checkdown to a back or crossing route.
Fair enough. Hopefully Brady challenges him then. I just want to see him make some plays!

Have you seen us getting beat over the top? No you haven't because he's doing his job. You're not going to see him gobbling up picks every game. Lot of football left to play.
True but I expect a first rounder to do more than just their job. I expect them to make plays. I've seen one in four games.

Remember they kept throwing towards fairley zone everytime can't put blame on hooker
I thought it was his zone on one of the touchdowns where he tackled the guy in the endzone. I just want him to make plays!

Yeah where is Hooker back there?
I'm waiting for him to show up. Not impressed this game.

The call was to win the game. Had it worked, we would have won. Low throw and not being able to hold on is what went wrong, not the playcall. Stop placing the blame on Reich for trying to win a freaking football game when that’s all you guys seem to want. I’m sure if we had tied you’d all be every bit as upset. Let’s keep grinding, go offense next offseason, and then push for playoffs. I still love my Colts!
I still would have have liked Luck to run it for the first down. Oh well! The team played their heart out!

I wanted to go for it. Win or lose man...this is a division win we need.
I was hoping to have Luck game the pass and run for a first down. He's the best player we had on the field.

Don't get upset at this... but this team could really use Phillip Dorsett right now.
Maybe healthy but that was a problem as a Colt.

Will shotgun help??

Kudos to this D... working their butts off.
Autry looked really solid today.
Glad to see him playing well alongside Hunt.

Bomb on first down anyone?
-
Is it just me or are the safeties not helping much over the top?
-
Luck needs to run for first downs instead of forcing throws on blanketed receivers.

Yeah. The theme of the Colts thus far...

what happened
That hb pass to Hines the linebacker creamed him.

It is not logic. He threw a ball. That ball (the same ball) was caught by a defender. The flag (not for PI) negated the play. Who caught the pass? Would the QB in the actual play regret his throw? Yes he would. Technically, not an INT but it is to the coaches and QB.
Fair enough.

Sure it was by every definition. It was negated so taken off the record the same as every play that gets negated by a penalty.
I disagree with this logic. So a CB could push WR down, catch the pass for an "interception" and gets flagged for PI. That is NOT an interception.

Maybe we slow down this pass rush with some HB passes out of the backfield and some well timed runs up the middle. I'd like to see what Hines can do in space. Wilkins seems capable of getting the job done between the tackles. Let's hope the OC dials up some good plays!

Good piece on Hunt. My biggest worry is when Autry comes back, Hunt will get fewer snaps.
Hopefully Hunt will continue to make plays so Autry can just provide fresh legs when needed.

Jared, thank you for sharing. I too have bipolar too (and live in CO for that matter) and I have some understanding of where you may be coming from. I remember a post of mine that was very optimistic about us going to the Super bowl if we all just "believed". I feel that was part of my mania. I find it brave that you are willing to share about your mental health, hopefully it gives some people perspective.
Sincerely,
David aka compuls1v3

Then hopefully Gronk has a relatively quiet day.
