No.  Not all.  Brissett, Huntley,  Dobbs, and still several others.  I saw a list late last night.

Now it’s possible that Steichen thinks that Sam will be fine as QB.   Possible.  And maybe Steichen has an eye on drafting a new QB3 on Day 3.    That’s also possible.

We won’t know until Day 2 or 3 of the draft.   I’d guess day 3.

    Brissett signed with NE

As discussed above that is only if he signs an offer sheet with another team. He isn’t going to but that doesn’t mean he can’t take that offer back to colts and request a trade.

Not happening. He has now been tagged and will be with the Colts this year, (unless the team chooses to trade him)

Seems pointless to me, to be worrying (or even speculating) about such a remote possibility, and even if the team did trade him, the compensation would surely be in our favor

  3. Looks like the report of Mike Evans' $52 million deal was slightly inaccurate.

The new Mike Evans contract has a base value of $41 million over two years

It happens every year. Agents do new contracts. They text the basic details to a small group of reporters. The reporters engage in a thumb race to X, communicating the numbers as gospel.

Within a day or two, the truth puts its pants on.

This year, it started with Bucs receiver Mike Evans. Two years, $52 million! $35 million guaranteed!

It’s actually, we’re told, a two-year, $41 million deal. The other $11 million comes in the form of incentives and escalators.

The deal pays out $23 million fully guaranteed in 2024. He’s due to make $18 million in 2025. Of that amount, $6 million is fully guaranteed and $6 million is guaranteed for injury.

So it’s a $20.5 million deal, not a $26 million contract. And it has $29 million fully guaranteed at signing.

It’s not bad for a guy with 10 years of NFL wear and tear. But it’s not what they told you it was on Monday.

Get used to it. Accept it for what it is. You’ll get overstated numbers when the deals are leaked. In time, we’ll get you the truth.

What’s with Rapoport?  The transition tag puts him on the market.  Patriots get a chance to match.  That’s all.

The Pats had to make a decision on which player they would place the Transition Tag on...

They chose Dugger, leaving Michael Onwenu unprotected

However, I suppose they could still use the Franchise Tag on Onwenu?

I’ve heard more that Harbaugh really wants Joe Alt.

Recently, Tennessee has shown interest in Bowers...

The Titans have been the landing spot for Alt in almost every mock draft. Should the Chargers (Harbaugh) pick Alt at 5, then I would not be surprised if they then pick Bowers at 7

Destin Adams had a story today how eagles and colts could swap OC. Because  Johnson was with Richardson in Florida. Anyone that watched his schemes in Florida know he was  terrible. And eagles were bad too.

Could the Colts and Eagles swap offensive coordinators?

    Destin Adams

...Brian Johnson's fit with the Colts:

If the Eagles were to fire Johnson and hire Cooter, the Colts could be in need of a new offensive coordinator. And if Johnson becomes available, he could be a solid fit with the Colts. He worked closely with Steichen as the QB coach for two seasons and was mentioned as a key contributor in helping Jalen Hurts develop into the QB he is today. With the Colts, Johnson wouldn't be expected to call plays, and he could work with and help develop soon-to-be second-year QB Anthony Richardson.

A QB that Johnson just so happens to have a past experience with. Before becoming the QB coach with the Eagles in 2021, Johnson spent three seasons with the University of Florida as their QBs coach, as well as one season as their offensive coordinator. His last season at Florida in 2020 was Richardson's freshman year. While Richardson only attempted two passes that season before redshirting, that season was crucial to his uptick in playing time over the following two years...
