  1. He's known to be a tough guy who plays through injury.  He may not be able to pass a physical for a while.  It will be interesting to see if he clears waivers.

If I understand it right he was released, not wavied.  Much like we released Manning.  He doesn't go through waviers but is free to explore any and every team he has interest in or that has interest in him.  Just like Manning's preview tour last year before he signed with Denver.

  2. He was released by the Lions earlier today. He has talent but continually has maturity issues and character problems. Of course, that was with the Lions franchise in which well let's just say nobody's mother Theresa. I feel our beloved Colts franchise can straighten him out to some extent and if we picked him up he'd serve as another great slot receiver along with TY.

    What do you guys think?

OMG.... I thought of starting a thread about this cancer as a joke..... but here you go!  Why do some people always want the worst trash of another team.....  this guy intentionally hurt his team; we have a great group of recievers, with more on roster that were hurt (i.e.Whalen)  No way do we need a player who dosn't even want to play football, just collect his signing bonus and cause trouble.

  3. He wants a pay raise every year.. i doubt grigs wants that head ache on top of what it would cost to get him

Great Point..... plus why is everyone always wanting someone elses cast offs?  There is a reason they are looking to get rid of him...he plays for himself and for his glory, .....  never the team... The Colts are a true team...

  4. I just showed that to my wife who is now looking like Alice Cooper, and is cursing me for making her cry uncontrollably.  I would have looked like Alice Cooper too, if men wore eye makeup.  There is nothing greater than to witness pure joy.  For that moment, you see joy.  What a great story, what a great man.  Thanks for posting that.

    DITTO!

  5. What a great season.... the ride....it's just beginning.

One thing I and many others have said all season and was painfully obvious yesterday is we have to learn to finish.  We can't win continously with field goals,we  have to score TD's.  That gives us a chance to build leads, finish teams early and turn our speed loose on defense.

But that will come hopefully next year.... In the meantime, who would have guessed this season would be so great, in fact they have set the bar very high for next season.  Next season begins now!  Go Colts!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I've honestly been more proud of THIS team than almost any other than we've had. Nothing against all the great accomplishments Peyton and the boys have done at all. It just seemed like we were expecting it all the time. There's just a whole lot that's special about this year's team that's hard to explain.

    Well put!

  7. Im not sure if it's just me but the news of Ray Lewis retiring changes the dynamics of this game for me. That entire team will be motivated, emotionally. We beat Green Bay this season when we had no business doing so because of the emotion. The Ravens are already favored, I will not be surprised at all if our offense gets shut down completely by that defense.

Initially, I had a us winning and being able to go play at Denver/Ne, but now I feel like the only way we win is if Flacco comes and throws picks. Also I feel guilty that I want Ray to go out with a ring, but they play us first so its emotional limbo for me as I wanted us to get atleast one win this year.

    Thoughts?

Ps: Typing on a mobile so cant really proof ready, and apologize for the incoherence.

If the Rat Birds can't get motivated for playoffs, but need this to give them some artifical motivaton to play, they are beat already; but then again with heir season end slump, maybe Ray Lewis thinks they are that desperate.

  8. I agree. Jeff Saturday made the pro bowl, and he isn't even good enough to start on his own team anymore. That's all that needs to be said about this game lol.

Great point.... i thought they were going to cancel this game due to lack of interest....  Let's face it, Pro Bowl is a laugh... David Garrad made it a few years back because no one wanted to go......Pro Bowl is a joke.

  9. This Colts o-Line needs retooled big friggin time

Colt's simply need to keep an Oline that can stay healthy....  injuries have killed them this year ...need to build a solid starting oline and some quality depth.  Only then we will see the true capabilities of Luck, when he has consistent time, he will lead this team to heights we all desire.  He has been amazing this season given the oline issues.

  10. Wow;  guess Colt's QB Coach is overpaid. Irsay needs to fire him and hire one of you as the new Qb coach....

It is amazing how all you couch Qb's know more than the professionals and the ones who have done it professionally.....

Luck is a rookie with no protection from his Oline; he is lucky to have a leg left to kick at the end of his throws!  Most throws he moving or running for his life, making throws and completions that are amazing.

If it's not broke, don't fix it.......  he has been amazing as a rookie in the NFL using the motion and methods he has grown up doing, that made him a #1 draft choice.

Get him some protection and time and watch the wins roll in....again...

  11. Embarrassing how averse to criticism people are in that thread.

As I've mentioned before, I've only noticed two apparent flaws with Luck's mechanics. One is the leg kick at the end of his delivery. It removes a lot of power from his throw because he can't drive his hips through, much like how you get way under the ball or hit fat if you lift your back foot in golf. The other is his inability to alter his arm angle when delivering from an awkward]

  12. What if we lose? :omg:  Not saying we will, but here is a 50% chance. I just hope everyone on the forum doesn't flip out and call for players/coaches heads. This is a game we are supposed to lose so keep that in mind. Really hoping for a W, but am prepared for an L. Before you burn me at the stake keep in mind I tend to be more optimistic when it comes to our Colts.

Anyone that "Flips Out" regardless of the score needs to be ignored.  We have already surpassed anything PEYTON OR ANY OTHER ROOKIE QB HAS ACCOMPLISHED IN THEIR ROOKIE YEAR.   Our rookie QB is surround by rookies, including rookie head coach, GM, and rookie interim head coach. This is more than the story of the year, it may be the best story in NFL history....

Enjoy this team and the moment, be thankful you aren't a Jags fan and look forward to a great future for this team.

  13. Dwayne Allen/ Coby Fleener - TE

    Vic Ballard - HB

    Andrew Luck - QB

    TY Hilton - WR/KR

Has a team with 4 rookie starters on offense ever made the NFL (or AFL) playoffs

I honestly dont know.. Does anybody???

    add a few more rookies:

    Rookie GM

    Rookie Head Coach

    Rookie Interim Head Coach..

Guaranteed no one with all these rookies has ever made the playoffs.....another Colts Record coming to a field near near you soon!

  14. And with a rookie QB . Thinking about 3-4yrs down the road , when they all have more experience and really know what they're doing - it should be awesome .

And a Rookie GM, Rookie Head Coach, Rookie Interim Head Coach........wow, just amazing what we are seeing! GO COLTS

  15. I am a huge Luck fan, sometimes though it looks like he is aiming the ball, guiding or pushing it instead of just letting it rip...letting his natuaral instincts take control.....

But aren't lucky (pun intended) to witness first to Manning and now Luck........ WOW!

  16. He had one catch. It was a nice catch and it was for a touchdown, but it was one catch.

It wasn't a great game, but the catch was nice.

GEEZ....we won the game....I hear Jacksonville is looking for some fans, maybe you should try them....maybe you could feel a little more positive and enjoy the moment.

  17. Suh is a thug. Would have liked to see his face after the last TD.

Slightly off the subject, but not really, is the difference between a thug like Suh and the entirety of the Colt's team class. I wasn't able to go to the game, but on the radio pregame they told the story that while the Colts were on the plane waiting to depart I believe, an official came on board and said there were a group of Military personnel waiting for a plane to ship out overseas, would any of the Colt players like to meet them..... and EVERY COLT got off the plane to go meet them with them well. Now that is CLASS that can't be taught or learned, you have or you don't. The COLTS do and thugs like Suh don't and will never understand.

  18. Who cares what this 2-bit hack thinks...... this team is fun to watch and exciting. More than we can say for last year. We're sitting here and talking playoffs....1 and done fine, I'll take that this year! This hack can call us pretenders, but we have a real shot, with a rookie QB, rookie front office, rookie head coach, followed by a rookie interim head coach, many more rookies on each side of the ball. If he wants to call us "Playoff pretenders" that is fine.....I can think of several names for him... More important is we all need to enjoy this, we are witnessing the building of a monster and a dynasty!
