COLTS FANS, DISHONORABLE MENTION

DESPERATE, THAT'S THE FIRST WORD THAT COMES TO MIND IN THE OFFICE'S OF THE INDIANAPOLIS COLT'S. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 9 YEARS SEASON TICKET RENEWALS ARE BELOW 87%. A HOTSHOT OUTSIDE TICKET SALES AGENCY HAS BEEN HIRED TO TRY TO " GET THE FANS BACK IN COLT'S CAMP".

FOR A TEAM THAT HAS HAD A WINNING RECORD FOR THE LAST 9 YEARS, HAS A NEW QUARTERBACK THAT RANKS IN THE TOP 5 JERSEY SALES IN THE ENTIRE NFL IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS, I AM VERY SURPRISED, AND DISSAPOINTED. INDIANA, NOT, JUST INDIANAPOLIS, A DEDICATED, LOYAL, AND , SUPPORTING FAN BASE. GUESS NOT.

WORST FANS FROM 5 TO 1 . COWBOYS, SAINTS, CHARGERS, EAGLES, BROWNS... NFL MAY BE LOOKING TO ADD SOME NEW FANS TO THIS LIST,,,,, AN HONOR THE COLTS CAN DO WITHOUT.

That's just the ebb and flow of biz. The economy is tough and I cannot fault fans for this

I also don't think the Colts are desperate. Ticket sales are not as easy, the day had to come as it has for other franchises.

I can certainly appreciate that. I have received 2 calls from the COLTS office regarding the purchase of tickets. Based upon what I was told, the sales are drastically down, from 2003. I believe we must all support the COLTS in every way we can. Even though I live in Az, I support Indiana . I look forward to the start of the season, and being in Indy for the COLTS.

I think a very small part of this is due to fans not sticking with the new regime. The biggest part of the issue is the economy which forced people to give up seats which maybe they wouldn't have if Peyton had remained, but something has to give. Also think part of this is from ticket scalpers who feel they won't make a profit on the tickets for awhile and again it is a business and tough economy.

Scalpers made a living off it. Losing and Peyton leaving FORCED them out of the business.

People that have wanted to go to games will have a new chance.

And we should expect FANS to Like new players over time. Go Colts!
